    He should be an All-Star.

  • Blarmac

This is a much better All-Star promotional video.

Lance’s been awesome this season and I love it. It’s like he’s playing without restraint, dude looks free, confident and he’s having a lot of fun. Who knows where would he be now if it weren’t for Larry Bird. Larry never stopped supporting this guy and fortunately for Indiana it’s paying off.

    you already know

What a pleasure. These moves work in the NBA?! Like, what? Talk about defying conventions …

Also the media really irritates me. There is no bandwagon for Lance Stephenson, so please don’t try to create one. They loved him, then hated him, then said they knew he would never make it … and now they wanna mention his NY legacy, and say they always knew he had it.? People are so impatient and myopic. Lance is two months older than Damian Lillard….

Aside from the select few (and by “select few” I mean solely the residents of Coney Island, and the SLAM fam/community), nobody gave him a chance. He doesn’t need any love from the media. I’ve actually talked to him about this.

Once a week I still think about how he was the ONLY player whose name was never shown or mentioned during the 2010 Draft… Like, his NBA dream came true and y’all just don’t want to show it, let alone mention it??? The ESPN broadcast literally cut to commercial after pick #39 … then put Lance’s name across the ticker during commercial when he was picked (the only player this happened to)… then never mentioned him when the broadcast returned! Ever. I could go on and on … congrats, Born Ready.

Thank you for bringing the sickness (that is Lance’s game) to our attention. Shout out to SLAM 100 (top 3 all time fave SLAM mag).

I think a cosign is apt here.
Most people just don’t feel the game.
If you really feel it, you know Lance had it, despite his early struggles in the league.
Keep it up SLAM, number one bball magazine outlet from your day one.

    You know it too.
That pickpocket and reverse on the break . . . There are just a select few that can pull it off like that in this game. But in general, Lance has that sense, he can really see the floor, and instinctively knows the spatial limitations and opportunities around him on the court. Just a rare baller.

So happy for him. Remember seeing him in some documentary when he was in high school. He used to work on his conditioning in the stairs of his apartment building with his father.

Man, that kid worked so hard and I am so happy that it paid off for him. Now, next summer, Lance is gonna get his money and he DESERVES it. Not sure Indy can keep him though. We’ll see…………

  • logues

was thinking that same thing last night. he’s prolly gonna chase the money and go elsewhere. for as cocky as he is and all the showboating he does, he’s one of my favorite players right now. dude is fun to watch
