theres a reason they cut the highlights at 4:45, i don t know how people really enjoy watching this guy play so much anymore, he plays like a dude hell bent to get his stats, most exciting thing about this guys game is his token one alley-oop a game but even that isnt special anymore, i wonder how much the raptors would of won by if the refs didnt call a foul every 30 seconds especially in the first half of this game #cheating

Lebron on the Cavs was exciting. His crazy turnaround fadeaways were classic against the pistons and wizards in the playoffs. His athleticism was on fully display.

Lebron on the Heat is purists dream

    exactly

  • VanCityBBall

It’s really corny to say but this is a quality loss for the Rap’s if there ever has been… If Lebron really had to flip the switch in the 4th to get 30, and Dwayne Wade had to play 30+ minutes on his first back to back since Nov. 15/16th to beat a team people lacked respect for… Congrats to the Heat but TDot should not hang their heads in utter disappointment…

So I had a glance at your posting history after seeing this very well thought rant(sarcasm) about how LeBron isn’t enjoying to watch(total bs) and found that Kobe is your ‘dawg’ and clowning on Lebron in a few threads. I’m just going to go ahead and say your argument is invalid on those points lol

  • brothasdontsurf

That’s like saying Lebron dropped a deuce when he woke up in the morning, who is really surprised?

  • thebossman15

How exactly does kobe being my ‘dawg’ have anything to do with this? your argument is invalid on that alone idiot. Im allowed to say what i want wtf is with u lebron nutriders and not allowing others freedom of speech on here lol. Watching a dude score with as little finesse as he does isnt appealing to myself and countless others i know bruh, doesnt mean what im saying is the end all be all, just a point of view that people on this site are terrified of discussing because they are scared of the backlash from the lebrawn fans.

  • Karl

Because Kobe fans are often delusional and narrow minded. Besides, I enjoy watching both Kobe and Lebron play. Different skillsets, but both have their own strengths. Kobe’s midrange game and Lebron’s finishing around the basket. Just gotta learn to appreciate everything and see it for what it is

  • the real

Not to hate or anything but these days everything lbj does feels like the nba trying to market his image and clueless fans who watch the box score and not the game continue to fall for it This the same man who was exposed by a supposedly washed up kobe bryant at the time(espn brainwashing) in the all star game.how can u possibly be the greatest to ever play when there are high school players thst can jumpshots better than lebron can.

  • the real

If doesn’t change his style of play soon though he’s more likely to have a difficult time adjusting once he hits his 30s he’s already 29 and showing signs if injuries lingering longer than they usually do(back, groin) father time stops for no man and lebron cherry picking shots to fool fans into thinking that he’s substantially improved will IMO be his downfall

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

because there were no more highlights after that.

  • deafballer

You’re going to use the all-star game as your source for Kobe being better than Lebron? Really? Because I could just point to their Christmas day match ups to show that Lebron holds his own but god that is a small sample size.

As for your second point, there may be tons of players who can shoot jump-shots as well as Lebron but can they average 25 points on 59% shooting while facing the best players in the world night in night out? It seems like you are hating regardless of what your name is.

  • Guest

you do know lebron believes kobe is better than him right?

  • Guest

nothing i said was narrow minded, your too emotionally attached to lebron lol.. i never said he was a shit player just that he is not an entertaining player to watch, i stated my reasoning(no finesse) and mentioned that it was just my opinion. Your the narrow minded one for saying ‘total bs’ when i said lebron wasnt fun to watch, you lebron fans stay taking l’s

  • deafballer

Sure, but my comment was more that just because Kobe had a better allstar game the lebron does not make him better.

  • the real

The all star game is really the only time that they are matched up against each other 1on 1 since kobe has to guard wade during heat games.carmelo has a winning recoelrd against lebron I guess he’s better right. It’s time to talk about individual skills not whose team did better.

  • the real

U tell he’s obsessed with his stats when he passes up looks that other superstars are actually skilled enough to score 50+ off of (spurs games1-6 cough cough)

  • the real

Not hating just pointing out that there’s a reason why lebron won’t shoot 59% in the playoffs, his numbers are inflated do to passing up open shots and having the best floor spacing in the nba. Dwyane wade PAST his prime is shooting 54% from the field guess he’s better than ever too right. Lebron is one of the greatest to ever play but today by just watching him u can tell that his fg% isn’t legit

  • deafballer

I can agree with you above post. even with individual skillset, I am still going to take Lebron though, based on what he did last year, and I would hope that he will be phenomenal this post season too.

  • thebossman15

if you think lebron has a better skillset than kobe you should never speak basketball again

  • thebossman15

Nothing i said was narrow minded, you are way too emotionally attached to this dude.I said lebrons game doesnt appeal to me and you were the one saying ‘total bs’, pretty sure thats being narrow minded smartass

  • the real

I can see where your coming from but ask yourself this If kobe or durant were afforded those same open looks against the spurs in the finals do you really think that it goes seven games hell no

  • mo

Absolutely hilarious seeing you dummies try to discredit LeBron. Now the refs are cheating and he’s hellbent on getting stats. He thinks Kobe is better, yadda yadda. FOH. Yall sound bad.

  • the real

If u would actually watch the damn game into of the stat sheet you would realize that no one is trying to discredit lebron(one of the GOAT) however no one answered my previous question. If fg% is the epitome of improvement then why is dwyane wade PAST his prime averaging the best fg% of his career as well. The heat as a TEAM lead the league in fg%. So instead of coming up with the same cliche bullshit how about fans stop being ignorant and ask themselves why lebrons fg% has such a drop from the regular season to the playoffs hmm.

  • Mvp23100

Explain this to me he has a better skillet because what? Kobe has never been this efficient ever he’s not a better passer has never been a better defender or rebounder and you lames want to debate who has better footwork FOH bean is done

  • deafballer

Skillset was the wrong word, I just meant that lebron is better with his skillset, i mean com on, this guy last year put up a legendary season and is about to do it again

  • thebossman15

Kobe has better footwork, shot,is the most clutch player at the end of games, a better and more proven winner, better on ball defender, better ball handler… Lebron believes kobe is better than him and has said it countless times, open up your eyes, stop lookin at the box score and start actually watching games

  • the real

Explain why dwade PAST his prime has a career high in fg% then

  • truth

    Kobe’s more clutch?

  • JJ Jones

Lebron is one of the best to ever play but if u can’t see thant he keeps track of his percentages during games then your just ignorant him and wade have CONTESTS to see who can get the most easy baskets and espn takes the oppurtunity to market this man’s image to you idiots everytime. Christmas MVP for what? He was the third best player on his team in that particular game lol.

  • JJ Jones

This is something that most fans don’t think about. The reality is that no one is the history of the game has ever improved at 29 without some physical aspect slowing fading away. In lebron case his endurance and durability (back injuries) aren’t what they once were. Without the necessary consistent scoring arsenal past age 30 he will probably become another vince carter or what dwyane wade is now… washed up father time is undefeated.

  • JJ Jones

    Idiot
