Nick Young Punches Goran Dragic and Gets Ejected (VIDEO)

Swingy P?

Alex Len threw down Nick Young with a hard foul on a dunk attempt — Young came back up swinging. After landing a punch on Goran Dragic’s head, Young and Len were tossed from the game.

I love how there’s all these dudes in front of him and he decided to hit the smallest one lol

  • Max

    Why u mad Swaggy P?!?

  • Jer dawg

Guy gets hit in face and people asks why he’s mad? The rest of those pussy Lakers on the court didn’t help. Ryan Kelly should’ve got in middle of it and at least prevent Suns from getting in his face. Don’t stand at 3 point line Kendall Marshall! Those are grounds of losing respect on team. Not helping out. Now I respect Matt Barnes & Stephen Jackson types, Ron Artest even more.

  • Anthony

I may have kirked out on that one too Swaggy. But I prolly would have swung on the Morri that was in front of you…or just anyone in a white jersey…Yeah, you give a dude a hard foul…but you don’t mash’em in the grill. I’d be sure to stay in the game and see Alex on that a few plays later.

  • Dfrance

Not sure which Morris Twin that was but he was sonning the sh1t outta Nick Young with those shoves. lol.

  • Dfrance

Gotta know when to pick your battles. lol

So instead of punching Alex or whichever Morris twin that was he went for Dragic? Then proceeded to walk away while trying to look tough? Oh Swaggy…

  • http://twitter.com/niQknacks niQ

lol. Morris Twins constantly pushing him and he goes for Dragic.

  • LobCity

Just last Friday he was mad that his teammates didn’t give hard fouls….. Such a b***h

  • 360

Marhsall, Kaman, and Meeks didn’t even have a thought of trying to break it up or step up for their teammate you just got tackled mid air smh

  • Southsider

Gary Payton mentioned the other day about how todays players are soft. Plays like this mind. It seems like guys back then were more accepting of a hard foul as being apart of the game. When this next generation began to trickle in its like they wanted to prove that they weren’t going to take it. So anytime they were fouled hard they had something to prove instead of just recognizing it as apart of the game.
Its just a hard foul no need to get all upset and get fined especially when guys are trying to calm you down.Nick wasn’t hurt and the guy wasn’t trying to hurt him. Just like LBJ the other day against the Knicks when the guy fouled him around the shoulder to stop his strong ass from getting the and one. His reaction was as if he threw him to the floor. I agree with Gary these guys are soft and insecure.

    Marcus Morris lol

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Made him look like a biggidy b*tch lol

  • Dfrance

Ok, Marcus is 15. I’ma remember that, was too lazy to look it up.

  • Salient

So if you got hit like that you wouldn’t react in any type of way? I wouldn’t necessarily say we would all behave the same way but come on your not playing in the league and you have no merit to call anyone soft.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

literally one of the Suns assistants no longer even tries to tell them apart. they even had practice jersey’s that he asked to have their numbers put on the front of. they were talking about it during a broadcast like last week.

  • Bruno

“all Alex Len did was grab his shoulder” I think that phoenix commentator is watching another play, Nick Young’s reaction was exaggerated but Len went straight to his head/face

  • d k

That announcer is a fuckin joke. If you cant commentate without being an unbiased homer than your not qualified to do your job. Who is worse, Celtics announcer Tommy Heinsohn or this schmuck? Knicks fan here, Clyde would have called it like he seen it, hard unnecessary flagrant 2 foul that lit fire under Nick Young understandably, but he would have said “Swaggy P huffing and puffing Now, the young man needs to walk away”

  • fruizm

I have twin cousins and they are 15 years old. I’m 27 and I have no idea how to recognize them. I still don’t know who’s who after all these years haha!

  • spit hot fiyah

it is so hard to remember, i tried many times

  • LakeShow

The foul wasn’t as hard as the landing was.

    F*ck Len for that though.

I like the Swag-meister’s gall here. The rest of his teammates should have had his back more. It looked like 1 on 5. You gotta go protect your teammates guys. F*cking Ryan Kelly…. Welcome to the adults league rook…

  • spit hot fiyah

i would totally love it if one of them got suspended and they just let the other dude sit and let the suspended guy play. who would find out?

  • LakeShow

Man, stick up for your team a lil…

Nick Young was the last player that was a b*tch last night.

  • LakeShow

    Dude, that is too good…

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

honestly, probably not even the coaches. at least one of them reportedly does rely on jersey number to tell them apart.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

You know I gotta clown a lil fam. If anything KButter looked like a b*tch more than anybody.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I don’t blame Nick Young one bit.

  • spit hot fiyah

or if one gets tossed in the second quarter and the other one gets hurt. jersey switch, problem solved

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I’m glad you mentioned that–it’s a HUGE problem that every local broadcast has. That’s why I hate local broadcasts, and when I watch my favorite teams play I always prefer the other team’s announcers. I just can’t stand homer announcers ruining the telecast.

  • LakeShow

    KButter?

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

That’s Kendall Marshall’s nickname on twitter lol

  • LakeShow

Oh, lmao. I’m thinking… wait, now you’re going after an injured Kobe Bryant…. Gaddam man haha.

  • Dfrance

You have to spend a lot of time around a set of twins to be able to visually tell them apart, there is always something slightly different you can key in on. My best friend since kindergarten had twin older brothers, I could never tell the difference but I was at the house like everyday. Around 6th grade I started noticing one was slightly uglier than the other one and ever since then I could tell them apart. Jamaine was the “rough looking one” from that day forward. lol

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Lmao I would never do such a thing.

  • Pedro

Young is acting like a little girl here. Mans game. Len gave him a hard foul….but he didnt hurt the guy…well maybe just his boyhood pride. Seriously. They are professionals. He needs to take a chill pill. Dust himself off and go play. I am happy none of the laker teammates jumped in. They did what REAL professionals do.

  • spottieottiedopaliscious

Lol yeah it’s like he was scanning across them all and then thought “alright there’s one I could take”…*POP*

  • Dfrance

Stacy King for the Bulls and Sean Elliott for the Spurs are pretty bad too. Clyde is good, Knicks management had to tell him to lay off the Knicks a few years back. And phil Chenier and Steve Buckhantz are really good for the Wiz too. They just call it how they see it.

  • Gregory Rudolph

Both of these announcers are stupid and blind Alex Len hit Nick Young across the face with two hands that’s why he reacted the way he did and four Suns players were pushing him name one person in the NBA that would have took that same hit and got up and walked away without saying anything

  • jaycee

you can make a hard foul as long as you make a SERIOUS attempt on the ball. Just taking a guy out 2 hands across the face. My NBA career would be over I’d probably go Ronaldo Balkmen on Len after that 1….

  • Southsider

Hard fouls test mental fortitude. It has nothing to do with trying to injury your opponent. Like they use to say you send message that nothing is easy over here. The Jordan Rules. Hit Mike until he gives up. Make him pass the ball.
Im not going to let you score because I can’t make a play on the ball. Imma put you on the line. Its just the way we played the game.

  • jaycee

so when a player was in the air you would hit them in the face and gauge their eyes? That goes beyong ‘playing hard’.

  • http://triplejunearthed.com/dacre Dacre

Seeing the Morris twins side by side you would wonder if you had a concussion and was seeing double at first….

  • http://triplejunearthed.com/dacre Dacre

    Kendall Marshall

  • Southsider

I believed I clarified the mindset when giving a hard foul. I said you’re not trying to injury the guy. In this play it was a hard foul and Nick was fine. Then he punched a guy that had nothing to do with the play. He just didn’t like the foul.

  • Southsider

Me? No. I don’t have to prove Im not a punk every time I get fouled. And I wouldn’t act like I got shot so the guy gets a tech.
Nick was fine enough to jump up quick as hell and punch a guy for no reason and get fined.
Ok I’ll just quote Gary he said they’re soft. Does that make you feel better?

  • eulerFermat

You have to draw the line somewhere though – so I would agree with jaycee – you can foul hard as long as you go for the ball. It’s too subjective to just say – as long as you don’t try to injure the guy. It’s basketball not boxing.

  • Dfrance

The fact that they also have the same exact tattoos, haircut and facial hair certainly doesn’t help.

  • Southsider

Exactly its basketball. They weren’t called the Bad Boys because they were always making a play on the ball.
You foul for difference reasons. Most likely its to set the tone of the game.
The Bulls did it against the Heat last season. The Heat got caught up in the physical play and the bulls and won the game. Everyone was saying you gotta be physical to beat the heat. In the next game the Bulls got carried away with fouling and forgot to concentrate on the game. Plus it didn’t work as the Heat where prepared for it.
Point being hard fouls test the mental fortitude of a team.

  • eulerFermat

I mean that’s fine, all I’m saying is that I think if you don’t actually try to make a play on the ball on a hard foul then it should be called flagrant, the guideline shouldn’t be whether one player was ‘trying’ to injure the other, which I think is a bit too subjective.

  • DMC14

    talk it up.

  • Easy

There’s a difference between hard foul and putting your two hands in the face.. I would’ve done the same thing, go for the ball. Not the face, wtf is that mentality
