-One of the bookmakers in the Don-a-gie scandal could end up facing charges.

-Paul Allen says that despite a published report in the NY Sun claiming that a Michigan-based group is interested in purchasing the Blazers, the team is not for sale. Sorry, guys.

-Should the Heat go after Smush Parker? Please, Miami, take him away.

-Hakeem Olajuwon talks about how he created “The Dream Shake”. David Robinson, the poor guy, is featured prominently.

-Allen Iverson on the ref scandal (Via: TBL):

“All I can say is, it’s good to see the shoe on the other foot,” Denver Nuggets superstar guard Allen Iverson tells NEWSWEEK. “To see someone other than players getting talked about and criticized is something I didn’t ever see coming.

I’m not happy about it because it makes the entire game look bad, but hopefully those people who think it’s just the players that cause problems will think twice. It’s more complicated than that.”

(Well put, Allen.)

In the same article, an unnamed Knick says that he’s sure Don-a-gie isn’t the only crooked ref.

-If you’re in the D.C. area this Sunday, you might wanna swing by the Goodman League’s summer game. Kevin Durant and Gilbert Arenas are expected to show up for the 7pm run, and it’ll obviously be tremendous. (Via: DC Sports Bog)

-And finally for today: LZ Granderson pens what I consider to be the best piece to appear on Page 2 in a very long time. Bravo.

Alright, have a good weekend everyone. I look forward to getting re-acquainted with my bed over the next couple of days.
