  • BETCATS Posted: Jan.31 at 3:10 pm
    then where?

  • Jukai Posted: Jan.31 at 3:14 pm
    Trade him to Boston!

  • thesubwayconnection Posted: Jan.31 at 3:23 pm
Hah! Trade JKidd for another crazy NY product! Banish him to the Kings!

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jan.31 at 3:30 pm
Trade him back to the Bulls so he can kick everybody’s butts. Especially Ben Wallace.

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jan.31 at 3:31 pm
Actually, Artest needs to be on a team that either has a ton of offensive weapons or none at all. Because otherwise he’ll just destroy the offense.

  • Tarzan Cooper Posted: Jan.31 at 3:32 pm
    the spurs should sign him

  • TADOne Posted: Jan.31 at 3:33 pm
    Suns.

  • white hot eboy Posted: Jan.31 at 3:35 pm
    The Rahway Renegades.

  • Captain America Posted: Jan.31 at 3:54 pm
Russ, Artest and weapons in same sentence?

  • Jake Posted: Jan.31 at 3:55 pm
lol speaking of Ron Artest….Was watching a music video called “Can I Live” by T-Bone,and all of the sudden in the middle of the song, out pops Ron Ron….then at the end Chino XL decides to show up,So Random!

  • Captain America Posted: Jan.31 at 3:56 pm
    J-Kidd Ron Artest

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jan.31 at 3:57 pm
Artest’s only weapons are his fists. He’s the Chuck Norris of the NBA.

  • Captain America Posted: Jan.31 at 3:58 pm
Judging from the comments section on the linked page, the fans can’t wait for Ron to find a new home.

  • Captain America Posted: Jan.31 at 4:03 pm
hide the wumen and kids, Artest is on the block

  • Dutch Rich Posted: Jan.31 at 4:43 pm
    Rahway Renegades, hahahahahahaha, that’s funny!

  • Yoeri Posted: Jan.31 at 4:51 pm

  • niQ Posted: Jan.31 at 5:11 pm

  • speedy Posted: Jan.31 at 5:23 pm
The only one crying at Artest’s birth was the nurse . Because nobody hits Ron Artest.

  • BETCATS Posted: Jan.31 at 5:25 pm
    deeeeeeeeeeeeeetroit baaaaaaaasketball

  • Jordan Hagedorn Posted: Jan.31 at 5:26 pm
Trade Ron Artest to the Pistons Crowd.
He is an over-rated thug. The only thing he is good for is A. Being the Halftime Entertainment and B. Being a Cancer to any team he plays on.
    Ron Artest, Go Home.

I’m sure the Kings are trying to shop this guy, but are having a lot of trouble doing it. Who wants a loose cannon who cares more about TruWarrior than basketball?

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jan.31 at 6:12 pm
Ron-Ron should become the L’s first Ronin–a masterless samurai. Every year he’d have to play for a minimum of eight teams, spending no more than 10 games with each team. He’d get paid the midlevel out of some random League fund. Immediately before the start of the playoffs, he’d have to pick one team and stay with them for their entire run.

  • Tarzan Cooper Posted: Jan.31 at 7:04 pm
russ, that idea was the highlight of your life. its all downhill from there, turdmeister!

  • Jordan Hagedorn Posted: Jan.31 at 7:15 pm
I think Ron should start his own team.
Get Damon Stoudemire, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp and Tyrone the Crackhead from Chapelle Show, it’d be a trainwreck with the highest ratings in the history of the NBA. They’d all be doin drugs and fighting during TV Timeouts.

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jan.31 at 7:33 pm
    Tarzan: Don’t I know it?
Jordan: You forgot Birdman, David Harrison, and–well, probably half the NBA. Who would be the coach? Figure it’s gotta be either John Lucas or Roy Tarpley. Chris Washburn could work with the bigs.

  • RedRum Posted: Jan.31 at 7:34 pm
Ron to the Lakers. It just makes sense. he gives the offense 18 ppg, wrecks havoc on the defense along kobe, and Jax might be the only person in this universe that can straighten his head up for a couple of seasons. I am no lakers fan, but I like Ron and want to see him do well. maybe the Spurs could make a run for him as well. He would either rip Pop’s head off or worship the ground he walks.

  • RedRum Posted: Jan.31 at 7:39 pm
I truly think that Ron is at this moment the biggest wasted talent in the NBA, and with his head straight a player that can single-handedly change the fate of a franchise. nope… I am not high… but there are very few players in the NBA with Ron’s set of skills.

  • G Diesel Posted: Jan.31 at 7:41 pm
Ron Artest to the Lakers for Kwame Brown and Luke Walton!

  • Jordan Hagedorn Posted: Jan.31 at 9:50 pm
Russ: I like your additions. To coach my squad, I’ll just go with Bill Walton straight up. He’ll bring a hippie feel to league that is needed. Get some old fans from the 70′s back watching the NBA. I also think we’ll bring in Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. to work with the players. He’ll relate to the younger cats well.

  • Jordan Hagedorn Posted: Jan.31 at 10:03 pm
PS: Russ, check your comments on your Roll on 20s Blog topic: Is This Thing On?

  • polar bear Posted: Jan.31 at 10:12 pm
ron is going to the knicks along with kidd…

  • Zabba Posted: Jan.31 at 10:41 pm
Trade Artest to the Suns. I’m betting it would make the same impact as another dynasty team(Bulls) acquiring a crazy ass player (Rodman). Or maybe not. They would probably need the Zenmaster to curb Artest’s temper. The solution? Trade for Artest, get rid of Pop and bring in the old Zenmaster.

  • Zabba Posted: Jan.31 at 10:43 pm
That was one of my best ideas yet. I’m gonna apply as a general manager to the Knicks.

  • GGG Posted: Jan.31 at 11:03 pm
What about Bibby, Artest and a draft pick for Kidd and Carter? ….Id be so happy for noheartercarter to leave the Nets!

  • Jordan Hagedorn Posted: Feb.1 at 12:29 am
    They’re not trading Vince.
The Nets would keep Kidd before they’d EVER get Artest. Bibby is good but getting old. The only way that deal would go down is if it included the Kings’ next three first rounders. Not Happening. Artest should join the Drugie team or retire.

  • Art Posted: Feb.1 at 7:16 pm
send him better to downtown instead of playing in the NBA. Ron Ron is more like a sideshow nowadays. remind me of a baller once who wears a jersey nos. 10, 91, 73, and 70. actually the “baller” is way better than Ron Ron, word.

  • jeremy Posted: Feb.3 at 6:10 pm
who cares where he goes? he is a punk!

  • Ben Posted: Feb.3 at 7:24 pm
“Free Ron Artest!”…some body had to say it.
