Marbury No Longer Welcome at The Garden

According to the NY Post, Isiah Thomas has banned Stephon Marbury from attending Knicks games.

(Steph should just become a season ticket holder and join the booing masses.)

Fans seriously need to stop going.

    “we got Zach Randolph, Yall.”

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Feb.29 at 4:11 pm
I’m going to petition that they move the Knicks to Oklahoma City.

    where can I sign?

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Feb.29 at 4:29 pm
Either that or they should turn the Garden into a Superfund site.

When you make $20 million a year and you’re banned from your own team, you suck something fierce. THe Knicks need to get youthier. Stat.

Yo? Wat up wit Isaih? Marbury is they’re best player, he should be starting not out of MSG!

What’s Isiah’s prob? Seriously, and who advises him on the lame decisions he makes?
I am not and have never been a Knicks fan, but I respected the franchise up until Ewing left. This is just ridiculous now. The fans need to stop going, nothing will change if MSG makes a mil each time the doors swing open. stay home!

Don’t know if I can stand reading anything more about the once proud Knicks franchise. The Knicks have been one of the three top legacy franchises in the history of the NBA. Sad.

Jonah: You’re insane. I hope that’s hyperbole. The Best Yet: Check the infamous-on-SLAM-”We got Zach Randolph, y’all!” video. All will be explained.

I like the suggestion of him buying a season ticket (shouldn’t be too hard) and bringing a “fire isiah” sign with him.

I’d like to hear some of that “dirt on Isiah” Steph promised if something like this were to happen.

  • TMT Posted: Feb.29 at 8:34 pm
    “The NBA, where Marbury happens.”

  • what Posted: Feb.29 at 8:39 pm
Well on the bright side, this does make the Knicks much youthier.

  • RV Posted: Feb.29 at 11:53 pm
TMT, it should be, “the NBA, where Marbury DOESN’T happen”

I can’t wait for the bombshells to come from Steph. Maybe he’ll tell us that Isiah created a work environment that was hostile to women, or maybe he’ll tell us Isiah made dumb trades without consulting anybody. Oh, the anticipation…

  • [...] Yesterday, Isiah Thomas had promised everyone that Stephon Marbury’s ban from The Garden had been lifted and that the injured point guard would be in the building. Marbury was of course a no-show, and today, there’s renewed talk of filing a grievance against the organization. From Newsday: Union lawyers and staff have been discussing Marbury’s situation during the past two days and are weighing their options, including a grievance on Marbury’s behalf. [...]
