O’Neal Wants the Shaw-Shaq Redemption Again

No, there will be no earth-shaking alley-oops between the two. Shaq wants Brian Shaw – currently an assistant coach in L.A. – to coach the Suns next season.

JUST read this. Oh man. I don’t want to see BShaw leave, even though I’d love to see him get a head coaching job. Oh Shaquille.

I’m sure the Suns are going to bend over backwards to do whatever Shaq wants.

    Silas!

Why don’t they just make Nash and Shaq co-head coaches…i swear that idea would be better than the candidates that they’ve interviewed and plan to interview…

    @Gerard: Ditto.

finally! I’ve been mentioning his name in almost every blog I write. For some reason I think he needs to get back into the NBA. I still think MJ should’ve hired Silas instead of Brown. Silas wanted to be there, but let’s see what Brown will do…. But Silas is a veteran coach, and I think that’s better suited for this Suns team. Once a ferocious rebounder himself, it would be cool to see him work with Amare.

Silas got a raw deal in Cleveland and I think if they would have hung on to him a couple more years they wouldn’t be sitting at home right now. Not that Lebron wouldn’t have been great anyway but I think Coach Silas’s influence had alot to do with his immediate impact and leadership capabilities.

As much as Silas needs a coaching gig, I can’t see him being any good for Phoenix

Does anybody ever tell Shaq no?

he aint gonna leave the lakers for phoenix.this is just another thing that shaq wants to blame himself getting old for on.They got rid of d’antoni and he was one of the best coaches in the league, nothing will help the fact that the old man cant play like he used too.Silas aint gonna be leaving LA because 1.)when phil is done he’s gonna still have a great team and phoenix is old and probably will make the playoffs and couple more years, and the lakers will be in it for like 10 more years

  • ciolkstar Posted: May.29 at 5:46 pm
10 more years?! Kobe will be like 38. The Lakers might not even win it THIS YEAR. Slow down buddy.

  • ciolkstar Posted: May.29 at 5:47 pm
This Lakeshow team will be better than the Suns for longer, but 10 years is a long time. A LOT can go wrong…

  • Sesa Posted: May.29 at 5:55 pm
WHy the Suns won’t interview Avery?

  • tealish Posted: May.30 at 2:44 am
Haha Myles, nice. But seriously, I don’t get why Shaq seems to get his own set of rules. It seems like he can do/say no wrong even when HE’S F*CKING WRONG! He’s like a big baby except that name’s already taken.

    Shaq – player/coach.

  • maio Posted: May.30 at 9:38 am

Who cares….Shaq is in no position to get what he wants…..Dude needs to retire.
