Jermaine O’Neal is a Raptor

By Ben Osborne

I’m sure Mutoni will be all over this tomorrow, but for now I just wanted to get the big news up on the site…I also like that this story is by my man Bruce Arthur, he of the very solid three-point shot. I’m not a big fan of O’Neal’s at all, but he could be totally revitalized outside of Indiana, and the Raps obviously needed to move TJ Ford, so I guess I understand it.

What do you guys think?

I am just wondering who the raps are planning to back up Calderon…

i would start: O’Neal, Bosh, Moon, Kapano, Calderon.

Kapono i would start because there will be a whole lot of double team in the post area. Kapono, will just spot up like its out of style. It’s a good range. Bosh, Calderon, and O’Neal can shoot the 18…while we have a gun slinger beyond the arc who would be just waiting to take that shot AND he can shoot from anywhere on the court. Besides, he being paid 24 million…i would start him regardless. As for Moon LOL – he too can join the block parade and add few crammers as well. This will be a good team and i see them going to the semi finals at the least.
