Mavs Still Have Confidence In J-Ho

The Mavs say they have confidence in Josh Howard. Is Mark Cuban smoking something too?

Nah, Cuban just wants to keep his connect aroung for when he or some friends need a spliff

The Mavs would be pretty hard pressed to replace J5. Even if he does act a fool off the court.

Why? Why do they have confidence? Isn’t this clearly of a case of delayed teenage angst showing itself in Josh? Seems like he’s acting out for a reason… trade him for a good package, before his “episodes” take on a more sinister note.

Oh and yes there is d.y. DIRK (massive olympic letdown notwithstanding) is the shiznit in my book. Gratuliere zum realisieren des Traumes Dirk Werner! Now get off the national team and concentrate on winning the west.

Not to be judgmental here, but you could make a strong (anecdotal) argument based on Josh Howard’s offcourt antics AGAINST the age limit. He stayed for 4 years in school and much good that did for his maturity.

I wouldn’t write the Mavs off yet, too. Kidd and Avery clearly weren’t a good fit, and they’ll now have a fresh start with an offense that hopefully utilizes Kidd’s talents more. He isn’t gonna shut down anyone though, at this point.

I’ve still got confidence in him.

Nonetheless, whatever happens off court the Mavs NEED him because Dirk will have the occasional game where he becomes too passive, and Howard usually steps up to the fore when that happens. This is still a deep and scary team.

He smokes weed and he likes to drive his car fast. Sounds like a regular cat his age. Except, he can easiy average 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while shooting 45 percent. I would have confidence in him as well. The Kings seem to have confidence in Brad Miller.

josh howard is fine, except for his horse teeth.

Howard looked awful at the end of last season. Let’s hope he can rectify that and get back to 05-07 form.

they should still have confidence in him the guy has brought it every single game hes played (minus the 1st round last year) and i would take him over 75% of the 3′s in the league
