Allen Iverson Can’t Sell His Philly Home

Records say Iverson bought the house for $5 million in 2003, and listed it for $6.3 million; he’s now asking for $4 million. Iverson’s home has been on the market since the 76ers traded him in December 2006.

is this basketball news? or just recession real estate news?

  • Captain America

Not surprising even in a down retail market.

Ill buy it, only if it comes with free lessons on how to have so much talent on a team and not win playoff games .. or some tattoos as well.

I hear the house won’t sell because Sharon Wright and BJ Tyler won’t get out of the basement.

Figures as much; how many people nowadays can afford a $4 million home? Aside from sports stars, of course

On other new, GB beat Czech Republic, Luol Deng ended up with 21 points, with only one point in the first entire half

This isn’t really a housing market issues. Pro athletes who change addresses always get screwed on homes. The buyers know the athlete has no use for the home and doesn’t want to be bothered with it, so the first action is a lowball offer.

@ Kevin: they also can’t sell them because other people don’t have the money to buy it with.

  • kevin

i guess he could sell it to Elton Brand!! Or maybe the house has endured too many parties and cant be sold….that would explain all the problems he had with PRACTICE!

  • Josh

kevin sounds like a true fagoot

So do you, BETCATS. Everything you say actually supports that. And your only argument back is going to be the exact same thing over and over again. Pitiful, really.
