Delonte West Confronting ‘Mood Disorder’

West excused himself from the Cavs earlier this month to deal with a mood problems which he says date to his childhood. “When everything is on the upside, I’m feeling the worst.”

    he may be Bi-Polar, he should be given time to try and sort it out, sometimes mental issues can be more affecting than health issues

    Just like the other depression thread, I only wish him the best. Taking time away from the game to get it right was a good decision Mr. West.

    If I had a canker sore near my mouth 24/7 I would probably feel kinda sad too. Hope he gets better.

    Stay well dude. He’s only 25… hes smart enough to recognise the issue and attempt to deal with it, unlike so many others in sport.

    It sure sounds like bipolar. My brother has it and he has found that he can never ever miss taking his medication. It took a while for him to realize this but now he has it completely under control. You can do it too, Delonte. Wish you well!
