Lamar Odom Has Made Peace With Bench Role

Or so he claims: “You only get one or two shots at this, you know what I’m saying? I’ll do it. Jeff Schwartz will probably hate it,” he said, referring to his agent, who will handle contract negotiations next summer.

“For some guys, they might not be able to take it well, especially in their contract year. Whatever. I’m good. I’ve made enough. I’m OK. My family’s good. Hopefully I can win a championship here and be rewarded for it.”

I like how he’s trying to justify this action to himself while he’s talking to a reporter.

in fact, I also read today that he wants to remain a Laker for life. But it will be interesting to see if that will happen. Financially, this is damn near impossible for the Lakers.

Ariza should have got more burn in the finals that game he was on fire. That was Phil Jackson’s biggest mistake as a coach ever

    I concur with Moose.

Come on, Lamar. Get your head right. Punch Fil in the eye and take your spot back.

Also, there’s no way Ballhog-Rapist wins another Chip without a dominant big man (i.e. – Dwight Howard, Yao Ming, Tim Duncan, or Kevin Garnett).
