    I was in Croatia this summer for 2 weeks. Basketball is closing the gap on soccer (although slowly), but cigarette smoking is by far the most dominant hobby in eastern Europe–malls, airports, buses, you name it.

    What kind of a post is Minister of Humanitarian Issues AND Sports. I guess if a basketball game suddenly breaks out between rival factions hell-bent on ethnic cleansing, Vlade-dadi will have all the answers.
