Doc Rivers Would Like (Some of) His Players to Put a Lid on it

Coach Rivers doesn’t mind someone like KG mouthing off all game long; Kendrick Perkins, however, not so much.

    As much as I wanted to see those guys beat the Pistons and win it all last year, I’d love to see it the other way around this year. The Celtics have quickly become an arrogant and dislikable team, starting from this preseason.

    i really want to understand how can the celtics be arrogant..maybe they need to look at thie roster for a second…you have 3 future hall of famers..your the best team on paper in the east since the bulls with rodman…these guys cant be serious the ony one in boston should be arrogant is danny ainge for making the damn team!!!

    Breeze: I don’t understand… to me, it does make sense that they’re arrogant because they DO have 3 future HOFers, are defending champs, are winning despite not playing near the best ball… I guess Ainge can pat himself on the back too, but the players sure have something to do with it.

    Actually, you’d think hall of famers would feel all right enough with their accomplishments that they wouldn’t need to be such p*ssies. Please, KG taking on a point guard and then tangling with Bogut? How about a little Shaq with that ‘tude, paintywaist? All from a guy that crumbles in crunch time? What an embarassment. I used to love the guy, too, I swear.

    True tealish. But were only 10-12 games into the season, and they are acting like Leprucan Gangsters. KG was always a talker, but it’s gotten CRAZY. Plus them being Posey and PJ Brown-less is not looking good for the when the Playoffs roll around. The Hawks took them to 7 games last year right? Right.

    these are the same exact celtics as last year. i think because they reached their goal last year, perceptions of how much they’re talking and of their overall attitude have changed a lot more than any of the players. KG, PP, eddie, and Perk are going to keep talking a lot this year. Leon and Ray are going to beat people like true gentlemen. Get out of the way. The Big 3 liked the feeling of winning a championship.

    Doc Rivers calling the suspension on KG as a joke, what I think as a joke is Doc Rivers being a coach. He just rides on the Big 3′s back

    KG talks a lot so all these other guys think hey he’s the best guy on this team we won a chip I can be that guy that vocal guy on this team with him… NO and untill the celts don’t get that suspensions are gonna be there

    Sesa, M Garland….chill, it’s not that serious. When my Celtics were losing and Pierce was yapp’n no one paid attn but as soon as he is blessed with a ring everyone says he talks too much. Some of us NEED spell check and some need to actually watch the games withr knowledge. (THINK, it’s NOT illegal yet)Oh, and as far as Doc’s coaching? He is good. Would you consider P Jackson or Red A great coaches? I’m in no way saying he is on that upper level but didn’t those guys win with HOFers? Neither of them took a band of bench players and won a chip so chill with the “he has HOFers so he doesn’t really coach” mess. Game management and substitutions are keys to great coaching and if you don’t believe me try coaching a youth team…Peace and have a great Turkey day!!
