Goran Dragic and the Bench are Getting to Know Each Other Quite Well

He didn’t leave Europe for this: ā€œI’m going to talk (to the coaches) because I am here to play and learn,ā€ Dragic said.

Goran Dragic is an anagram for ‘I don’t care’.

Dragic is way more talented than Beno…i wish we had taken him instead of Childress this summer…

theo, what is sofiklis up to ?

  • Wongtouski Posted: Nov.27 at 3:07 pm
What is this guy complaining about. I’m a huge Suns fan and I watch every one of their games, and facts are facts, he sucks right now. He looks lost out there, doesn’t take charge of the offense, hesitates when he gets a chance. I think he’ll be a good player but damnit the Suns are trying to win right now, stop complaining and learn on the bench.

I knew this was gonna happen eventually as soon as he decided to go the NBA. And maybe he’s more talented than Beno, but at least Beno can shoot the ball.

@Tarzan…:Big Sofo is getting back painfully slowly, unfortunatelly. Doctors have said it is dangerous for his healthy to be on court more than 15′ at this moment and we paid for this last Sunday: Pekovic completelly destroyed him..By the way: my fears on Childress are now being realized by the rest of Europe….there is no place for perimeter players that cannot shoot in real bball…

Why do ALL these Euros come here thinking they are gonna light the league on fire if they get playing time? Will they ever realize that most of them suck by NBA standards?

  • Quail Posted: Nov.27 at 3:57 pm
    @ what: …. prolly not.

  • Theo Papaloukas Posted: Nov.27 at 5:13 pm
    @what…:what?

  • Theo Papaloukas Posted: Nov.27 at 5:17 pm
@what…:for the same reason that Josh came in Europe..he also was thinking that he was going to light the euroleague on fire…now more and more people are asking if he was really playing in the NBA or it was just a rumor spread from OLympiacos in order to make noise and sell some more tickets….

    Nikos, man, where you been???

  • bobbybrown Posted: Nov.27 at 6:08 pm
man, uall gotta realize that european basketball and the NBA have two completely different styles(the NBA being not that much better anymore), thats why childress’s got his problems in europe and european players have their problems in the NBA (just take Nowitzki as an example, he just plain out sucked when he came into the league and look at him now)

  • what Posted: Nov.27 at 7:18 pm
Josh went to Europe because he was getting paid way more than any NBA team would ever pay him. I kinda doubt he even cared whether he’d set Euroleague on fire or not. Regardless, Childress may not be tearing up the Euroleague (considering that he has zero one-on-one offensive skills that’s not all that surprising anyway) but he’s not shooting 32% and stinking up the joint like Dragic. And he certainly isn’t complaining about playing time after stinking up the joint.

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.27 at 10:29 pm
Dragic was fine in pre-season. He just needs to keep doing the little things that rookie point guards need to do to get court time…ie, look after the ball and set up the offense.

  • Theo Papaloukas Posted: Nov.28 at 3:40 am
@what….:Josh is shooting worse than Darko from the outside(easily..).He is maybe the worst perimeter shooter in the eurolegue this year.. And Darko went to the states for money. Simple as that.

seen every game, Dragic has not adjusted to the NBA, BAD decisions, high dribble, no D, play Singletary, seemed way better.

  • Jeremy Posted: Nov.28 at 5:11 pm
i live in phoenix and i have watched every suns game up to this point. Dragic when playing was obviously the worst player on the floor night in night out. the thing that bothers me is that he was handed the position without proving anything. I have watched Sean Singeltery in college and he was great. Dragic needs to head to the dleague and I dont think he would dominate their either i just dont think he’s nba material right now not even close….

  • Greg Posted: Dec.3 at 5:15 pm
    @ Jeremy
I think Dragic IS an NBA material but just does not have a chance to prove it. Nobody can learn NBA hics & tricks from the bench but you cannot get enough self confident. If you know that you gonna play for couple of minutes just for Nash to rest a bit then zou want to do it best but zou just can’t. Yeah, just remember Novitykzy!
