Insane Finish to the Bulls/Jazz Game

So, I guess this will be the one night this year that Bulls fans won’t despise Larry Hughes with every fiber of their being.

    first!

Larry waited until someone was on him to fire the fadeaway. Could have just set his feet and taken a better shot. He probably would have missed it, though.

rose is fast as hell. that shot with 25 seconds left while slip n sliding was crazy. and i guess heart breaking last second shots to beat the jazz is a chicago thing

I still despise him, but hopefully some other GM will take notice and take him off the Bulls hands…

As a Cavs fan I am nodding approvingly at Gooden’s defensive brain farts which led to Memo’s two consecutive uncontested baskets. Enjoy DG, Chicago. And Hughes, too.

This is the first time Larry Hughes’s career where someone on the OTHER team hates him

I caught the 4th quarter of that game. The last couple of minutes were Derrick Rose V. The Jazz. No ball movement, no screens, just Rose to the hoop, every time. As good as Rose already is, it makes me wonder. Is Rose already that good that he can take over in the 4th quarter as a rookie, or is Del Negro that bad? Don’t they any plays for Hughes, Gordon, Gooden, Gray? Hughes scored that play only because he was in position to rebound Rose’s miss (and Derrick’s 6th shot in a row). As fun as it is to watch him, I’d like to see more passing.

Clyde he had 9 assists. When the game is on the line I would rather it be Rose. Rose is the best player on that team point blank. It was four Bull player’s in double digit’s last night.

    totally agree with candace.
and i wish rose hit that shot cuz he deserved all the praise for last nights game. boy is sick

  • riggs Posted: Nov.25 at 11:11 am
clyde its both actually (rose being that good, the black being that bad)

  • riggs Posted: Nov.25 at 11:12 am
also co-sign airs, rose is ridiculous and made me forget all about his pre-season woes.

  • what Posted: Nov.25 at 11:38 am
Yeah, Rose is just that much better than the rest of his team.

But at the same time Del Negro is that bad. I wish they’d fire him and pick up Eddie Jordan.

  • RV Posted: Nov.25 at 12:40 pm
that’s some bad time management…as a fan i liked the final minute, but as a coach you should hate it.

  • LL Posted: Nov.25 at 12:52 pm
Thats so Accurate I hate L. Hughes and D. Gooden, but last nite I jumped out of bed when he hit that shot. Great finish last nite.

  • Breeze Posted: Nov.25 at 2:09 pm
yes del negro is teh worst…and bacanator you was right about hughes..

  • LA Huey Posted: Nov.25 at 2:15 pm
@ RV, exactly what I was thinking.
@ Russ, that’s why I didn’t complain when EJ got fired. XD

    +1, RV.

I don’t see where the DG hate is coming from. He’s actually a reliable low post scorer. I’d be more angry at Noah, whose whole ‘thing’ was energy and defense and he can’t do either right now. Hopefully the Jazz were impressed enough with Hughes’ shot to trade Boozer for Huges and Gorden.

  • Diesel Posted: Nov.25 at 3:27 pm
Hughes, Gorden, and Thomas for Boozer and Miles. Does this trade match up salary wise? I think its fair on both ends.

holy crap rose is fricking unguardable.

  • Rich Posted: Nov.26 at 12:08 pm
From the Chi, I had no idea Rose was THAT good, and he has a heater. (My brother went to high school with him, said he was cool) I mean, no one can guard him. This dude flying all over the court the other night. If the Bulls get a low post scorer and get rid of Deng (please!!!), they’ll be reliable. I really am shocked he takes over the game and doesn’t care who has a problem with it. Gordon is my guy, but even he has to let Boy Wonder do his thing.
