thats sad, nash suspended for falling.

  • Pve84 Posted: Nov.14 at 3:45 pm
I think it’s more of the intention he had…before falling.

  • Allenp Posted: Nov.14 at 3:48 pm
Nash deserved some punishment, but it makes no effing sense that he got more than Shaq. I guess they must have assumed that Nash escalated the incident (which I said earlier) but Shaq clearly was just randomnly pushing cats. come on.

  • B. Long Posted: Nov.14 at 3:55 pm
    This is ghey.

  • witness Posted: Nov.14 at 4:04 pm
i like how the league handled things this time.

  • fdsdfs Posted: Nov.14 at 4:14 pm
    nash sucks

  • Zig Posted: Nov.14 at 4:17 pm
So TMac pushes Nash (as he’s falling) then stands over him, and gets no suspension? Total BS!

  • TADOne Posted: Nov.14 at 4:18 pm
I figured Barnes would get more than just 2 games.

  • Roy Posted: Nov.14 at 4:20 pm
No surprise there on the suspensions… :D

  • Be A Real Fan Posted: Nov.14 at 4:28 pm
They should’ve claimed custody of Nash’s children while they were at it. God only knows his intentions for those kids.

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.14 at 4:42 pm
    F u c k i n g
    lame

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.14 at 4:45 pm
So by Nash tripping and getting uppercutted, he did worse than Shaq and T-Mac who actually physically attacked people?
    It all makes sense now!
The cosmos have become clear to me!
I’m ascending into a higher human being!
    Thanks Stern!

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.14 at 4:46 pm
How about Stern suspend Amare and Diaw, just for old times sake?

  • Dutch Rich Posted: Nov.14 at 4:54 pm
    What did the refs get?

  • KobeStopper Posted: Nov.14 at 4:56 pm
Nash was clearly going over there to escalate things. And I’m saying this as a huge Steve Nash fan and fellow Canadian. In fact, Nash’s eagerness to get up in Barnes’s face is part of why I like the guy, but I think he does deserve the 1 game suspension

  • Dutch Rich Posted: Nov.14 at 4:59 pm
Nash was clearly going over there to break things up because he was the only one on the floor who kinda saw what happened, who was involved and the potential for escalation.

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.14 at 5:03 pm
Damn, next time I hope Shaq just wrecks some dudes and sends them to the hospital, he’ll probably only get a fine.

  • Allenp Posted: Nov.14 at 5:17 pm
    Jukai
You can complain about the Shaq non-suspension without trying to pretend that Nash didn’s escalate things. You know he escalated the situation, and you know that TMac pushing was a result of Nash running up and appearing to grab Rafer by the neck. You know this.

  • LA Huey Posted: Nov.14 at 5:38 pm
I can’t believe this! That’s all Shaq gets? Do they know how much he makes? Man, that just made my day. So Stern does have a sense of humor.

  • da south Posted: Nov.14 at 5:41 pm
The suspensions issued are on point. Shaq probably acted on adrenaline,”not trying to really hurt anybody”.Even though Nash meant no harm, he did escalated the issue(even you know that jukai, stop being a h0mo).One game is alright for the player that insists on trying to act hard,”even though it is not needed of him”. Looking really dumb Nash………………………………………………………………………………Quote said dumb, because if i say nash is stupid, jukai gets all mushy and exited.

  • Anton Posted: Nov.14 at 6:14 pm
    Shaq is awesome

  • Moose Posted: Nov.14 at 6:15 pm
Not quite the Pacers thing a few years ago . . . but two games is a bit less than I expected.

  • The Promise Posted: Nov.14 at 6:19 pm
Nash is a great baller, but I think he needs to stick to that, cuz fighting definitely aint his thing.

  • Double R Posted: Nov.14 at 6:21 pm
I was looking at the Heat roster and Chris Quinn looks like a serial killer. http://www.nba.com/heat/roster/

  • Hersey Posted: Nov.14 at 7:17 pm
It makes no sense to suspend Nash and not McGrady and Shaq. Then again this is the NBA. Suns are gonna be hurting tonight without Nash, LB and Barnes.

  • da south Posted: Nov.14 at 7:30 pm
    Hersey, Nash instigated mcgrady.
Non intentionally im sure, but he did,and that caused a chain reaction. One game is fair to me.

  • rhenasium Posted: Nov.14 at 8:08 pm
what!! Artest wasn’t suspended! what has the world come to?

  • Crook Posted: Nov.14 at 9:17 pm
A couple of you guys were all over the Celtics when they had a run in with the Rockets and the same ones excuse TMac ut it is clear that he is not a saint. I couldn’t care less who got fined or suspended I just want people to notice that the rockets will jump at the chance for an altercation and I think they grew a collective pair b/c Artest is there (Rafer was already tough but McGrady wasn’t. lol) The team should buy wii so they can work out their past playoff anger issues. Celtics #18 for The Green

  • Jess Posted: Nov.14 at 9:22 pm
Ok I know that the L is trying to cut down on any sort of “scrums” ( that def. wasnt a fight) but honestly I dont think there should have been any suspensions. If anything I guess Barnes and Skip - but Nash? really? wow haha..Artest is so lucky he wasnt on the court…def. would have gotten a few even if he didnt do anything.

  • John Posted: Nov.14 at 10:19 pm
Nash is a crap stirrer, and he always gets put down.

  • Hursty Posted: Nov.14 at 10:49 pm
This never woulda happened with the refs doingtheir jobs properly. The League made the right decisions.

  • Magic fan Posted: Nov.14 at 11:12 pm
    You guys are too funny

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.14 at 11:44 pm
God damn Allenp, when did you get so god damn biased. Nash ran over, unknown intentions, and tripped, yes, causing things to escalate.
    Major point coming up:
-Do you not think that if McGrady had not knocked Nash over and stood over him like he was going to stomp his face into the court that Shaq would not have gone enforcer on the entire Rockets team?-
McGrady continued to escalate things by having to be PHYSICALLY RESTRAINED by Scola, even as Nash is knocked off balance and uppercutted in the face.
SHAQ, as much as I defended him, nearly ended another season for Yao as he bowled over people without thinking.
Allenp, you say so many smart things, so I’m always mystified when you deliver incredibly lopsided logic. Are there two of you?

  • ballinpro24 Posted: Nov.14 at 11:46 pm
GO SHAQ!! Shaq was pushing like there was no tommorow!

  • da south Posted: Nov.15 at 12:17 am
Damn, wish this would of happen vs. the lakers.
Kobe in place for McGrady, and Bynum for Yao. But Bynum, instead of being flimsy like Yao, he turned around and knocked shaq the fuk out………………………………………….. DAMN jukai still being a H0M0

  • RV Posted: Nov.15 at 1:11 am
pretty much what i expected, but I think shaq deserves a bigger fine. Y’all forget nash also grabbed Rafer’s jersey and wouldn’t let go of him, that probably the main reason why he got the suspension, he did it after rafer punched him and he prolonged the incident by doing it.

  • Dma Posted: Nov.15 at 1:40 am
yao should be fined for looking so ugly

  • talya Posted: Nov.15 at 1:58 am
this little “fight” was so funny. the suns need to learn how to control their emotions. It was clear the suns was getting mad because they were getting their ass busted on national tv. I love how shaq and tmac got fined…thats nothing for them. how bout make them do mandatory community service if the nba is so worried bout their image. Real talk. plus can’t wait to see my rockets in DC.

  • Charles Posted: Nov.15 at 3:30 am
Jukai is right. You can assume Nash’s intentions all you want but no one knows what he was going over there to do. He got pulled down by McGrady before doing anything and upper-cutted on the way down. For that he gets a one game suspension?!?! Really though, if you think about it, there’s no reason for the smallest guy on the court (besides Aaron Brooks) to escalate anything, because if he does his ass will just get handed back to him on a silver platter. Shaq was just looking out for his boy and I respect that. I think the league was just happy he didn’t start throwing haymakers and killing everyone in sight.

  • RV Posted: Nov.15 at 3:32 am
Charles, read my previous post, Nash hung on to Rafer, that did him in.

  • Charles Posted: Nov.15 at 6:08 am
RV, Watched it again. You are right, BUT I think Nash’s intention was to let go of the jersey. (blatantly making fun of earlier posters who tried to deduce intent) Naw. I’m with you RV. One game is fair for Nash. But I think McGrady deserved the same.

  • Orlando Green Posted: Nov.15 at 12:07 pm
Shaq should be suspended, he was clearly pushing people instead of trying to be a peacekeaper

  • j-zone Posted: Nov.15 at 1:19 pm
Don’t sleep on Lil’ soccer playin Stevie! Ron Artest wasn’t involved but his presence gave the Rockets a lil boost of mean I’m sure.

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.15 at 3:36 pm
Yeah, with Rafer Alston immediately going up to Nash and throwing punches and uppercuts, it’s silly for Nash to hold onto Rafer’s jersey, it escalated things, and its clear Nash deserved the suspension. Silly me!
Da South, tell your mother to stop wearing different color lipstick, I’m gettin’ a rainbow around mah dik.

  • da south Posted: Nov.15 at 4:57 pm
ah…………………suprised you had enough mental strenght to stop thinking/admiring/day dreaming/ of nash and put together a couple of sentences.Oh its they are of nash
Jukai, tell your Nash to stop wearing different color lipstick, You’r gettin’ a rainbow around his dik……………..any high school kidd could beat up nash(stop (acting) tough and play ball.Hurry before you’r time is up NASH! hahah

  • da south Posted: Nov.15 at 5:47 pm
    you know what i meant

  • sef22 Posted: Nov.15 at 8:45 pm
da south and jukai, you guys both sound like immature idiots, real talk , matt barnes got what he deserves Rafer was defending himself but you also get 2 games cause stern doesn’t want a Palace part II, we can’t assume what steve nash wanted to do but history goes to show that he really didnt want to fight for real, Shaq, wow D Stern if yall think this is how you break up a fight, try letting Ron Artest do the same thing, he woulda got 80 games suspended unpaid. Let’s keep it real fellas

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.15 at 8:46 pm
Actually I don’t. Nor does anyone. Ever.

  • da south Posted: Nov.15 at 10:16 pm
    WHAT!! Dont moderate my comments!!

  • da south Posted: Nov.15 at 10:24 pm
sef22, i dont have anything to do at the time of my comments, as you can see. That said, me typing worthless comments to jukai is the result.Real Talk.

  • DD Posted: Nov.16 at 12:23 am
steve nash is usually a pacifist, but here is true side is shown.

  • da south Posted: Nov.16 at 12:36 am
Nash true side is to ACT tough…………………………………………..Nash is Physically able to hurt only a little girl.Great baller though.

  • da south Posted: Nov.16 at 12:42 am
succeeded to not mention jukai’s name on my comment ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Dope(in homer simpson’s voice)

  • Darksaber Posted: Nov.16 at 2:26 am
ahhh, hope ron rottweiler is on the court for their next matchup. Would love to see his new “mature” demeanor when shaq shoves him. The reaction should put UFC to shame…. Shaq deserved a 1 gamer too btw.

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.16 at 2:30 am
I wonder if Da South is going to be like the new James Da Balla and just be obsessive with me. I really do need more people to admire me.

  • Darksaber Posted: Nov.16 at 2:45 am
your tendency to get into wars of words in here do warranty some kind of admiration Juks. :)

  • Jukai Posted: Nov.16 at 2:46 am
In Da South’s case, it’s more of a war of garbled phrases which may or may not contain words

  • Darksaber Posted: Nov.16 at 2:49 am
ah well, u know how anger/rage can cloud clear thought. He sure seems to have it in for ya. But u can handle you business easily, as seen tenfold om different posts

  • da south Posted: Nov.16 at 10:08 am
Your unconditional man Love for Nash clouds your judgment. My typing is the result of being careless. I choose to be careless. You choose to be in love with a man.Just clearing things up…

  • DD Posted: Nov.16 at 11:50 am

  • Gerard Himself Posted: Nov.17 at 9:50 am
    The Quinn picture is frightening.

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.17 at 7:11 pm
