Worldwide Wes Admires Donnie Walsh’s Business Acumen

“When asked during Wednesday’s Knicks-Pistons game at Auburn Hills if he feels the Knicks are the favorite to sign LeBron in two years, Wesley smiled and said: ‘Barack Obama could use Donnie Walsh to clear salary-cap space for the country.’”

Translation: Hell yes, LeBron is as good as a Knick right now.

I fail to see the connection. Ok, so Donnie Walsh is great at dumping salary. Sweet. But so was Jim Paxson while with the Cavs. That was about the only think he was great at, actually, that and low balling future stars.

Yeah… all that stuff Sir Charles said on the postgame show about LeBron? Disrespecting his employer and Cleveland and all that? Co-sign all of it.

I agree, just do what Nash did and say it’s a stupid question and that’s that. When the guy you’re interviewing is calling you stupid, you’ll think twice about writing a pointless column.

You get no acumen when you’re paying a guy 190,000 to hold down a seat.
