Video: Big Baby Was Pouting On The Bench

Kevin Garnett jawed at Glen Davis inside a fourth quarter huddle. Big Baby proceeded to sit himself out the rest of the game–all red and teary eyed–as Gabe Pruitt tried his best to not bust out laughing.

    I’m not sure what Baby said to Pruitt, but he was pissed at what Garnett said. Dude sat there, not talking to anyone, with a towel on his head for the rest of the game.

    I dont think KG had anything to do with it, he only pulled him into the huddle and kept talking to everyone, he didnt even look at Davis as he talked.. Davis probably was upset at a play.

    Big Baby sucks. Ever since the night they won the championship (maybe it was the champagne), he’s been out of control and acting like an idiot. Whether it was the whole “Disneyland” imitation of a retarded person or his shirt off on the duck boat during the Celtics parade screaming and flexing like he was Hulk Hogan (which made him look like HE was the retarded person after all), Baby (and he doesn’t get the respect to be called Glen OR Davis from me) has has developed this ego for nothing really. He gets 10-15 mins a game, and only played garbage minutes in the playoffs last year, and KG’s right: Dude needs to understand his role and stick to it. He is there to grab rebounds and play defense and score on put-backs. He thinks he’s a guard the way he shoots and dribbles, and while his game IS diverse, the Celtics don’t need that from him. On any other team, I am sure he would be a distraction. This Celtics team, however, doesn’t seem to allow distractions.

    Observations I made from last nights game:
    1. Sergio Rodriguez(sp?) doesnt know how to play defense.
    2. Greg Oden is worse at it.
    3. Brian Scalabrine should have shot the 3- the crowd loves him.
    4. KG is more insane this year than any other previous.
    5. Roy and Pierce were talking sh*t. Pierce won.
    6. Davis is a bitch.
    7. Leon Powe has ball handling skills. See that lay up he started making above the 3pt lin in the 4th!?

    I feel you guys-there’s not much to fault in the C’s, so you jump on anything you can find. Big Baby can pout all he wants and KG can be nasty as all hell-we’re still getting banner 18 this year. Who’s gonna beat us..? Lebron? I mean the Cavs..umm..no. Detroit? uh…no. Fakers? nah.. So keep hatin! lol
