It wasn’t too long ago, that folks were discussing Chris Bosh and casually tossing around the word “MVP”. They even did with a straight face. Including Bosh himself. Not sure if you’ve noticed, but that’s completely stopped.
The Raptors have been awful of late, losing 8 of their last 10 ballgames, including last night’s disaster at home against the Mavs. And that’s when the lustful booing began, leaving the Raptors’ leader none too happy.
From the Toronto Star:
“If I wanted to get booed, I’d go on the road. It’s real tense right now. When you’re down three points at home and you’re hearing boos, that’s kind of disheartening.”
“Whether the crowd knows it or not, they play a big part in the game.”
You’re in luck, Chris. Your team is heading on a six-game road trip, far away from those Canadian meanies in the stands.
As for the Toronto faithful, I hope they realize that this guy can bolt in a couple of years. Might wanna think about putting a little more effort into cheering the team when it returns home, guys.

unlike the angry New York boos every draft night, it was a painful despairing moan
I dont really care if bosh played bad last night but whats with mr. bustnani…putting him in the game when your “down by three” … not a good time to play around and develop your game son.
This team is soooo boringgggg. i can’t even watch whole games because there is no excitement or energy. I’D watch the teams from 04 and 05. atleast they had some direction. im not sure were this team is heading but they need to take a note from Obama and start thinkin bout change
any player is Canada should be pampered because they would always rather
go
back home.
We get it.
Really.
Every article ever written about any baller (of repute) in Canada mentions this. ad nauseum. And,
we get it.
(truth be told, we’d rather be home then away too).
And there are A LOT of such Raptor fans. Trust.
