In J.J. Barea, the Mavs Trust

While keeping a close eye on their old point guard’s exploits, the Mavericks are thoroughly enjoying the J.J. Barea Experience.

I never liked this guy. He reminds me of the guy who is on the team because he is the coach’s son.

Ya’ll should do a story on J.J. I mean he had two 40+ games when he was sent to the DL. He was the leader of the Puerto Rican team that was tryin to make it to the Olympics.

  • Justin Walsh Posted: Dec.4 at 11:37 am
mike, if you watch the NBA, he scores. he has a nice floater in the lane, a good 3 point shot, doesn’t turn it over…He gives the team good production off the bench

  • ciolkstar Posted: Dec.4 at 11:44 am
Barea doesn’t turn it over because he doesn’t pass the ball! Ever. He just drives at the rim and launches a floater or tries to get the foul/layup… Personally I’m enjoying the “Rick Carlisle-fu*king-with-everybody-on-the-Mavs Experience”

he’s been good since awhile ago, he wasnt proven though and sometimes inconsistent. he reminds me alot of beno

I absolutely love Barea and have since I saw him drop back to back triple doubles in the under 21 world championships back in the summer of ‘04. He also killed a then 19 year old CP3, as well.

  • Breeze Posted: Dec.4 at 12:17 pm
well holly i highly doubt he would kill cp3 now….and hes a good back up..for a back up…but he cant guard no one…i seen t.j ford destroy this great white hype..

  • Eboy Posted: Dec.4 at 12:33 pm
This little prick is garbage. Please…. Chris Quinn looks like the second coming of Pistol Pete compared to his sorry ass.

  • Tommy Patron Posted: Dec.4 at 1:53 pm
He is like a smaller Scott Brooks.

  • Jukai Posted: Dec.4 at 3:03 pm
He looks like that angry kid in your High School who’s shorter than literally everyone else, but acts incredibly tough to compensate. Look at that drawn-on beard and that po’d expression.

  • witness Posted: Dec.4 at 3:41 pm
    The mavs still suck.

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.4 at 5:38 pm
    lol Jukai.

They should be enjoying it. Because of him they had a shot at beating the Lakers… briefly.

JJ Barea is freakin awesome. you all need to show him more love and support. I mean the guy gets more game time every time they play. Why? hmmmm maybe cause hes actually good. idk i could just be spitballin but I think they’re slowly letting him shine more.
