    Jason Terry: All-Star?

The Jet would love the honor, but his teammate Dirk doesn’t like his chances: “As of right now, we’re not even in the playoffs,” [Nowitzki] said. “We’re ninth. Usually the teams with great records get one or two in.”

Sixth Man of the Year, but not an All-Star…

    • B. Long Posted: Dec.22 at 12:19 pm
      Is this a joke?

    • Daniel Posted: Dec.22 at 1:58 pm
No, it’s not a joke. He won’t make it because there’s too many good guards in the West, but his play HAS been All Star caliber. If you deny that, you’re just a hater.

An All Star gmae without Dirk will be a great. And it terry get is and he does not would be even greatER

    • Daniel Posted: Dec.22 at 2:14 pm
      Hey Mendel, Are you dyslexic?

    • riggs Posted: Dec.22 at 2:28 pm
we dont believe you, you need more people.

    • B. Long Posted: Dec.22 at 2:29 pm
I guess Kevin Durant is an All Star too.

    • Josh D Posted: Dec.22 at 2:42 pm
No. The West Guard spot is the most competitive in the entire league you’ve got CP3 and Kobe(Who will start) then you’ve got the next tier of guys who are fighting for the reserve spot, Deron Williams,Jason Kidd,Nash,Billups,Parker, McGrady,Brandon Roy, Manu Ginobili, Baron Davis, etc, etc

    • B. Long Posted: Dec.22 at 2:59 pm
@Josh D:That was what we call “sarcasm”. Google it.

    • Nbk Posted: Dec.22 at 3:03 pm
Its much more simple then it is being made out to be. THere will be 2 guards starting - Kobe and Cp and then there will b 3-4 guards on the bench. Brandon Roy is 1 for sure - Chauncee is 2 - Tony Parker should b 3- and Kidd should b 4. Jason Terry falls somewhere around 7 so if the all star game is half guards then he will have a slim shot. But really he wont be in no matter what.

    • Darksaber Posted: Dec.22 at 3:20 pm
He’s been fantastic in the absence of Josh/Jerry and little help from the bench guys. The switch up Carlisle made, to include him, JJ and Kidd on the court really got them back into the playoff picture, so yeah…JET deserves to be in all star contention. Still: Parker-Longoria, Billups, Bryant, Brandon, Manu, CP3 are all more recognizable to the average fan right now… gonna be a tough one.

    • Nbk Posted: Dec.22 at 3:34 pm
The average fan has nothing to do with JET making the playoffs. The reserves are chosen by a vote among the head coaches of each squad’s particular conference, if the fans chose the teams the all star game would be the same year in and year out.

jet making the allstar team*******my bad

    • what Posted: Dec.22 at 5:21 pm
Wow Dirk, what a ringing endorsement.

    • Michael NZ Posted: Dec.22 at 8:13 pm
Not an All Star. BUT it does seems like he’s been going for 25-30 every night for a while now. Two more months of that then… maybe. Also, no to: Kidd, Nash (as of now), Tmac and Davis. Manu? Parker? Both would be too much. Spurs with 3 All Stars?

    • chintao Posted: Dec.22 at 9:56 pm
Co-sign what ==> Dirk sounds like he’s afraid somebody’s going to steal his shine.

    • rikson Posted: Dec.23 at 5:26 am
@chintao: Thats just stupid - do you know anything about Dirk?

    • drayton Posted: Dec.23 at 6:40 am
jet???……..HELL YEAH! haven’t u guys seen him playin this year? he’s absolutely an all star this year. no matter their record.

    • 王骁男 Posted: Dec.23 at 7:53 am
dirk means he is the one who is the only eligible all star player in Mav.

    • flipinoman7258 Posted: Dec.23 at 12:35 pm
I agree only Herr mavrick Dirk all star. . . JKidd to old . . . Terry 6th man of the year but not an all star

    • walt Posted: Dec.23 at 1:40 pm
JASON TERRY WILL NEVER BE AN ALL-STAR, he’s just a regular player

    • chintao Posted: Dec.28 at 9:02 pm
@ rikson ==> I certainly don’t know Dirk the way you seem to. I’m just saying how it sounds. Maybe his words were taken out of context?

    • balla2fly Posted: Feb.7 at 11:01 pm
walt is a hater, the nba is too unpredictable to make assumptions. As tery’s 2nd cuzin i have hope, the same hope i had when he was averaging 15.5 pts a game and now hes averaging 20.2 pts. My point? That, anything is possible (like the commercials) and we’ll just have to shutup, wait and see (what i wish everyone here would do)because when he does make all-star everyone that said he wouldnt, will look stupid
