    Not Quite Enough

    Melo and Iverson were the perfect pair…in many ways.

    Melo/Ivey1600×1200 pixels (4:3 ratio, high-resolution, standard screen)
    1680×1050 pixels (8:5 ratio, high-resolution, wide screen)

    It seemed like the perfect match. They both had the braids, the tattoos, the proclivity to score (a lot). They both won Big East Frosh of the Year awards and attended high school in Virginia. But Iverson and Melo couldn’t make it happen together, despite leading the League’s duos in scoring and a notching a 50-win season. Maybe they were too similar to ever go all the way. Maybe it was something else. But the Nuggets dealt Iverson three games into the 2008-09 campaign and never looked back. Well, we had to make a wallpaper…so we could do just that.
