  hahahah i swear to God i knew he was goin get caught sooner or later, by the way he was smokin weed, cuz sum guy i kno knew joel anthony (ricky was wit miami last season) and joel told him that nba players get tested 3 times a year, and since ricky had been tested 3 times already, the rest of the year he was high 24/7, i mean that literally; like joel told him that ricky would wake up and go to sleep high, he’d even go to the rest of the practices high and no one could do anythin to stop him, haha dam that mus b funny; him in those 3 hour pat riley practices high as hell…. altho i dun kno if he played games high, i wouldnt b surprised if he did tho…

  Smoking weed is still against the law if its for recreation. fair or not, its the law and he’s punished. meh this suspension doesnt mean anything because he’s been out for a month plus anyways

  You know, teams should get smart about players like Ricky “Smokey” Davis. Sign him and guys like Mark Blount, Marcus Banks, etc to a 5 year minimum package deal. You need to be in Lottery? THESE are the guys that can get you there. They will not play D, won’t give you effort every night and will ALWAYS look for ‘their’ shots. Plug them into your team and they can almost guarantee a Lottery pick. Ask the Celtics, TWolves and Heat. Those 3 players were key members of losing campaigns. Coincidence? Not likely.

  Despite the fact that many people smoke weed…and im sure NBA players who have so much money can obviously afford BOMB weed, the bottom line is that it’s supossed to be a family game. You can’t have kids seeing a NBA player “mentor” doing drugs that’s not right. It’s telling them it’s okay (which in my Canadian opinion it’s beyond okay) but still.
