The Suns are Making Amare Look Bad

“I know I put in a lot of hard work this off-season to really take that next step, to really be in the class of the D-Wades (Dwyane Wade) and the LeBrons (LeBron James) and the Dwights (Dwight Howard). I put in the hard work this off-season to be in that class. Right now, I’m a little frustrated.”

I’d have to agree. Giving the game to NJ last night was rough.

  • 王骁男 Posted: Dec.1 at 9:43 am
Porter is not a competent coach.youm know,SUNS also has their own BIG 3.Amare,nash, shaq, especially in their post game with shq and amare.BUT…..the records this season is not acceptable.fire him!~ build a new system to make Amare be a truly core!
suns fans add me hopefully msn:wxn8822@hotmail.com

Maybe you shouldn’t have pulled out of the Olympics, Amare. Turns out that’s probably the only championship you would’ve had a shot at for the next half a decade. Or until you bolt in 2010. When Charles Barkley reads this comment he’s gonna be pissed.

  • Cheryl Posted: Dec.1 at 10:10 am
I have to agree with him. I did notice Wade in his ear after the game with the Suns. Perhaps he was saying “come on down to South Beach when this contract is over. We’ll have cap space.”

    LOL Cheryl

I just thought he aleready belonged with the likes of D-Wades, LeBrons, Howards, kobes.
Shaq should really came of the bench and put either Lopez or Frat Boy Admundson as the Center

  • Cheryl Posted: Dec.1 at 10:42 am
Shaq would be too disruptive in the lockerroom if he doesn’t start, but I agree that he’s probably 80% of Amare’s problems. Shaq demands the ball and is slow-footed (is that a word?) and Amare likes the game a bit faster. But Kerr took on Shaq’s billion dollar contract and Porter probably has orders to gear the offense around the big guy. The irony is they’ll lose both in 2010.

those phoenix glory days are over.

  • Allenp Posted: Dec.1 at 10:56 am
Last year the Suns were killing with Shaq and Amare and Amare was singing Shaq’s praises.

  • Allenp Posted: Dec.1 at 10:56 am
D’Antoni’s system is a beast. D’Antoni the man isn’t that great, but as an offensive coach he is a beast.
Seriously, Chris Duhon had 22 assists. David Lee put up 30 and 20.

  • Los Man Posted: Dec.1 at 12:02 pm
The Suns are making the Suns look bad. Had STAT kept his cool, even though that was a lame move by Harris,he would’ve stayed in the game and held off the nets.

  • davidR Posted: Dec.1 at 12:56 pm
allenp, those numbers were against the warriors though

  • jaywhy Posted: Dec.1 at 1:20 pm
of course he’s fustrated… dude’s a 30ppg scorer on any given night and now they’re giving him like wad? 8 shots a game? while a 36 year old fat a$$ is getting 10+ shots a game… this is another reason why nash’s assist numbers are down… they throw it down to Shaq way too often… Nash + Amare pick and roll works great… so use it!

Shaq destroys chemistry everywhere he goes… orlando, lakers, miami and now the suns

  • collin Posted: Dec.1 at 4:34 pm
amare needs to leave. if he’s into being on one of the best teams in the league ech year then that team playing like $hit in the playoffs then he is in the perfect place. he needs to go to a team that actually has a chance

  • Moose Posted: Dec.1 at 6:08 pm
Any guesses for where he’ll end up in 2010?

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.1 at 6:08 pm
He’s making my fantasy team look awful too. 18/8? C’mon man…

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.1 at 6:09 pm
    I dunno. Detroit? Miami?

  • Roy Posted: Dec.1 at 7:09 pm
I don’t blame Stat for feeling that way…

  • Dacre Posted: Dec.1 at 9:52 pm
He needs to take over…. he’s settling for 18 foot jumpers too much. Just tell shaw to get out of the way and he should take over!

  • Mavus Posted: Dec.1 at 10:10 pm
GET RID OF SHAQ AND SPEED THAT TEAM UP AGAIN!!!! Why would you give up 20 and 10 a night (Marion) for 10 and 5 a night (Shaq)? SO DUMB!!! Amare is a monster!!! IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT… IT’S BAD COACHING AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ROSTER!!!! GET OUT OF THAT CONTRACT IN 2010 AND GET WITH LEBRON OR WADE!!!! THAT’S THE ANSWER, G!!!

  • Darksaber Posted: Dec.2 at 1:01 am
Awww, poor Amare. Hey STAT, love ya but maybe you should have gone to beijing to join that secret cabal of future Hall of Famers? You know, the one which the worldwide follower claims to exist, with it’s members being BOSH-WADE-BRON_BRON?

  • Jack Posted: Dec.2 at 1:25 am
Don’t forget Melo. Yeah well I’m pretty sure the Suns are on the decline regardless… Stat would go sooooo well in Memphis with OJ and R. Gay. Not sayin he’d wanna go there but…

  • Beth Posted: Dec.2 at 3:32 am
I agree with STAT. I was at the Twolves/Suns game and they were BORING! The score tells a different story but it was a sore to sit through. The players looked uncomfortable, STAT got a tech, everyone seemed quite frustrated.

    Guys, it’s Amar’e.
