Worthy of Your Attention

by Marcel Mutoni

Houston @ New Jersey: Devin Harris is one of the funnest players to watch in the Association today, and according to his former teammate, Jason Terry, he doesn’t have any choice but to be spectacular on a nightly basis:

“He (Devin Harris) has to play like that for them to win,” Mavs guard Jason Terry sniffed. “When he played with us, we needed him to do it differently. But for them to win, he has to do that — every night. If he doesn’t get 30 or 40 points, that team doesn’t win, period. They can’t beat nobody.”

What’s with everyone in Dallas dissing New Jersey?

Portland @ Denver: The Nuggets are struggling – they’ve lost three in a row for the first time all year long – and George Karl still refuses to bring J.R. Smith off the bench. Because that would make far too much sense, you see.

Lakers @ Grizzlies
: Kobe vs Mayo. That should be fun to watch, as OJ goes up against his idol. Oh, and the Lakers have that ugly little two-game losing streak to worry about.

The jet is just a plane hater. don’t hate on the kid who dropped 41 own his old team to prove that he was worth y’all keeping. better tell Jason you don’t get in a defensive stance standing all the way up.

Funnest should be in the dictionary. I use it all of the time, and now Marcel Mutoni’s using it! We should make a push for this!

I guess the Mavs are nobodies.

“…Mavs guard Jason Terry sniffed.” i.e. he was holding back the tears of getting owned by a somebody. Keep it 100, JT, you should at least win before you talk sh!t

Lakers loose. Setting up a blowout on the Celts for recovery. Makes for a good story line entering the game and then plenty of exit talk after wards. wiwn, win for everybody. Thank you and good night

LOL. What Terry meant was: “We miss him, he didn’t do that when he was here because Avery wouldn’t let him.”

New Jersey did smoke Dallas a couple nigts ago right? So, the Mavericks = Nobody(?)…I’m cool with that. …And JR is coming off the bench, did you mean to say “JK still won’t start him…” Should I drop Augustin for JR!? I’m deep at PG and need more 3s…

  • ciolkstar Posted: Dec.22 at 1:43 pm
I just realized why I’m not really an OJ fan… Kobe is his idol.

  • Anton Posted: Dec.22 at 2:05 pm
Kobe’s his idol? No white girls in hotel rooms are safe.

  • vmcb Posted: Dec.22 at 2:46 pm
    a statement game? against memphis??

  • davidR Posted: Dec.22 at 3:05 pm
    carmelo out till friday :/

  • davidR Posted: Dec.22 at 3:06 pm
ciok.. keep augustin. he hits the 3 ball too, and racks up assists and points while he’s at it

  • ciolkstar Posted: Dec.22 at 4:20 pm
With Melo out til Friday I had to make the move to get JR (I already own Carmelo) He’s hot right now and will probably get more scoring opportunities with Melo sidelined. Plus DJs got an ankle injury and I’m already pretty strong in assists, points and FT. DJ was killing my FG% and doesn’t get many stls. Plus, its tough to get him in my lineup most nights because of my extreme PG depth. Where the hell is Emry at anyway? I need fantasy advice from the only hoops site I trust!

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.22 at 8:21 pm
The Nets have been garbage in the 1st half vs the Rockets. Harris has 4pts, 1rebound, 2 assists, 2 fouls. And they are down 19 with 6 minutes to go in the half.

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.22 at 8:22 pm
Oh! Make that 3 fouls after Harris tries to barrel over Landry. He’s out the rest of the half. Now its 21 points.

  • Hursty Posted: Dec.22 at 8:31 pm
What happened to my comments? No mention of Yao vs. Yi either?

  • IHeartCoffee Posted: Dec.22 at 9:20 pm
Nothing on the battle for China?(Yi vs Yao) I’m surprised. ….not really

  • Tzvi T Posted: Dec.22 at 11:18 pm
Also worthy of your attention, Kanye’s flop on SNL. Looked cool, could have been great, instead sounded and looked foolish. Guess he aint God after all.

  • G8RS Posted: Dec.23 at 1:29 pm
Props where props are due- Devin is playing excellent this year!

  • LB Posted: Dec.26 at 4:12 pm
New Jersey is a toxic dump. Sorry.
