Andray Blatche Out 2-4 Weeks

The worst team just got worse due to an Andray Blatche strained left knee. Thunder GM Sam Presti, who was courtside at last night’s Oklahoma-Oklahoma State game, better hope for a lucky lottery because Blake Griffin is looking good in a Wizards jersey right now.

The Wiz is so far gone that even Blake can’t help them out. Thunder on the other hand with a 1 2 3 4 of westbrook, durant, green, and Griffin would be scary. Would they win games? Dunno. But they would be scary.

the wizards are already the worst team in the league, there the only team that are still in single digit wins. so this can’t make em any worse, that is not possible

yeah this is basically what the spurs did and then drafted Tim Duncan and became one of the most successful teams of the past decade so i dont care….they better just do the process justice and get the best player to come into the league for the next 6 years or the wiz will just look stupid.

Where are the Wiz gonna put Griffin?
Arenas at the 1. Butler at the 2/3 and Jamison at the 3/4. Isn’t Griffin a 6’9 PF? Hello?

  • starbury&stevey

Wizzards are beter without blache, dude shots way more than he truly deserves,he sould just put his @@s on the block with that height and frame.

Can the Wizards sign Obama to a 10-day?

  • Wiz

The Wizards should go after a center not a power foward i dont think griffin will be a good fit. Maybe they should just trade the pick lol but they will be ok when gilbert gets back trust me.

The Curse Of le Bullez also means that they wont get #1 pick

    JaVale McGee!

Blatche has had a pretty good season, but he is one of he worst defenders I’ve ever seen. Hilariously bad, even. He gets his one blk and half a stl per game, but he just gambles for those.

I think they’d have to take Griffin with the first pick (If they get it, it seems like the team with the worst record has missed the first more often than they’ve gotten it recently) They have some length already but they need a bruiser/rebounder who will actually commit to defense. I just don’t see anyone else in the draft who fits their needs. Maybe they’d trade the pick for Camby or another defensive big. They have their PG in Arenas and two other positions locked up (Caron can play the 2 or 3, and Jamison the 3 or 4) and have some flexibilty in their lineup. Plus Nick Young is looking like he’ll contribute from the backcourt. They have to go frontcourt. Maybe Thabeet?!

JaVale McGee is about to turn some heads… that is if anyone still watches the Wizards at this point.

The Wiz probably won’t get the first pick even if they are the team with the worst record, its been ages since a No 30 in the standings has got the first pick, and anyway if Ricky Rubio enters, he’ll be a challenger for the No 1 pick

    Wizards to do list:
    1. Rest Butler and Jamison for the rest of the year to avoid any more injuries.
    2. Get top pick in draft and grab Griffin (who is an absolute beast).
    3. Trade Gilbert Arenas for a decent point guard and another solid big guy. McGee is clearly not the answer.
    4. Trade entire bench for a couple of guys from the Lakers’ bench.
    5. Bring back Eddie!
They won’t be great, but at least they’ll be out of the cellar.
