Memphis, Milwaukee Reportedly Working on a Deal

“The latest rumor to surface is the Bucks possibly trading backup point guard Ramon Sessions and forward Joe Alexander, who was the eighth overall selection in last June’s NBA draft, to the Memphis Grizzlies. In return, the Bucks would obtain point guard Michael Conley Jr., who was the No. 4 overall selection in the 2007 draft. The Bucks would also likely receive a future draft choice.”

Well, Joe Alexander hasn’t done squat yet. And Sessions played 12 minutes behind Ridnour vs. the Wolves the other day.
Would Conley start? And what is it with the Grizz wanting point guards? Are they just doing it for cap relief since Sessions is a 2nd rounder?
This trade confuses the heIl out of me. Although…the Grizz would become very, very athletic at the 2 and 3 with Mayo, Gay, Alexander…but Conley is plenty athletic…so wth.
    Help me out here.
Also, they could both be aiming to be the most terribly uncared about franchise while appearing to look like they are trying-but failing anyways.

The Raptors should try and make a move for Sessions, Will Solomon is pure garbage and they could stand to loose Kapono’s overpaid ass.

I think Sessions is a diamond in the rough that hasn’t been getting the chance to shine; in Memphis he will get time and I expect him to deliver. The Grizz have been getting nothing from Conley at the PG spot. Alexander’s just a bonus in the trade; not NBA-ready now, but maybe in the long-run he’ll develop (but he IS ready for the 2009 dunk contest).

I’d rather trade Luke Ridnour and keep Ramon Sessions.

Sessions is better than Conley and Ridnour right now. No idea why he doesn’t play more.

Sessions is the best PG the bucks have and would be the best player in the deal.

tell me why sessions ain’t starting over ridnour anyway? don’t get me wrong but,{ramon=level 1 arenas luke=level 2 j.williams},get what i’m saying!

Memphis will be better with Alexander in the long run. The team is young but they have more athletic players than most teams. I wish they would pick up a few more veterans just to have them on the team for guidance. Conley isn’t a great pickup for the bucks but both alexander and conley came out of college too early in my opinion but i think alexander has A LOT more potential.

This makes me SICK…!!!!!!! Sessions is GREAT, and Luke Ridnour is doing well. I think the Buck need to ship off Redd for a “big” and LEAVE THE REST OF THE TEAM. Guys need time to gel, and to see them give up on Joe Alexander makes me so pissed off. The guy is young and hasn’t seen squat for playing time. Alexander will be GOOD and Sessions is already GREAT. WTF, Milwaukee???
