A Frustrated Joe Johnson

The Hawks’ captain wasn’t exactly feeling chipper following Atlanta’s loss to the Clippers: “‘Had I known we were going to stink this bad, I’d have come in a suit,’ Joe Johnson told a crowd of reporters around his locker after the Hawks deflating 121-97 loss, just their sixth this season at Philips Arena…Truth be told, the chill in Johnson’s tone and game dating back to early last month have been unmistakable. He’s not feeling his best these days. There’s been no real indication as to why, other than the extensive minutes he’s logged all season and his growing frustration with the way teams are scheming to stop him.”

I can think of a few other Hawks who should have shown up in suits on Saturday.

Having trouble dealing with being The Man, Joe? Isn’t this why he bolted from Phoenix, so he could be the guy on his own team?

To be The Man you have to be THE MAN…WHOOOOOOOA!!!

  • MeloMan13

i guess thats what being a part of Mike Dantoni’s offence does. Matrix, Joe, Amare all think that they are “The MAN”. i wouldn’t be suprised if Nate robinson requested a trade to memphis for the same reason

Yeah, except Joe has actually been playing like the Man all season, recent struggles excepted.
