Amar’e Stoudemire Out 2 Months

The Suns are reporting that Amar’e Stoudemire underwent successful eye surgery this morning to repair a partially detached retina. He was poked in the eye during his 42-point outburst against the Clippers this past Wednesday. Not a good season for the SLAM blogger’s eyes, to say the least. The Suns will have a tough time making a Playoff push with Shaq still sitting out back-to-backs and the team getting used to a new coach.

    Hmmm whos going to sign with PHX? Shaq is good but he sits out some games and amudson cannot do amres job.. Time for Shaq to put on that dusty Superman cape somewhere in his closet..

    @ KEITH : How about some common sense there buddy. Shawn Marion is a ROLE PLAYER. a ROLE PLAYER. you get it? a ROLE PLAYER. When do you ever hear a ROLE PLAYER complaining and whining about not getting enough shots or being the center of attention (unless you are Larry Hughes).

    Dropping another 140 on OKC, then hanging 108 on the Celtics (albeit losing 128 themselves)? It’s not exactly terrible. Let’s see how the next couple of weeks pan out, before we sound the death knell.
