Down Goes CP3

A strained right groin forced Chris Paul to leave the game early last night, and unsurprisingly, the Hornets’ evening ended in the loss column: “It is not known yet if Paul will miss any games. His status will be updated today after he undergoes an MRI exam. ‘I don’t know,’ said Paul, when asked the severity of the injury. ‘I’ll find out when I go to the doctor in the morning.’ Paul said he thought the injury came after he ‘stepped wrong.’ After the game, he walked with a slight limp, but without crutches.”

The Hornets ARE Chris Paul. If Paul goes out, I don’t expect them to be able to beat Washington or the Kings.

By the way, when is Khalid going to come out with his apology piece on Washington? You know, the apology piece to us, the slamonline commenters, when he called us idiots for counting them out seven games into the season?

Seriously Jukai, the Hornets were up about 20 when CP3 went down and then in little over a quarter managed to lose the game. The Hornets had no idea what to do without Chris Paul.

    He will bounce back quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Paul

I was at the game last nite and when he went out, the rest of the team folded like a deck of cards. Even Joel P. looked like an All Star.

The MRI machine would score 18 points off 9 assists from CP3.

David West should step up and show the NBA fans why the coaches voted him in.

Jukai, I wouldn’t hold my breath on an apology from a SLAM writer. (or even an acknowledgement of being dead wrong)
