Good News, Bulls Fans

Rejoice! GM John Paxson isn’t going anywhere: “I’m the GM of the Bulls. I’m not resigning. I’m here. I’m going to be here. So that puts an end to it. I’m not going to answer any questions about that. It’s over. I’m the GM of the Bulls. That takes care of that.”

Paxson’s worst flaw is overrating his young talent, everyone does that to a degree but he took it to the extremes. Cavs did it when they didnt want to include Boobie in any deal and now they’re doing the same with JJ. Apparently, Portland is doing it with Batum. GMs are afraid of being that dude that traded Dirk for Tractor Traylor or Pippen for Polynice.

The only thing that would put this season over the top for me would be Jordan deciding to go into the Hall of Fame as a Wizard. Or a Birmingham Baron.

Why does life have to be this hard! Thats the least of my problems with Del Negro in charge.

“Players don’t win championships, organizations do.” And they don’t do much after those Championships to get back there.

hahha (at above…). The thing is the Chicago Bulls had the furthest distance to fall from the top, they were so far above everyone else for such a while – It could be bearable of they only fell a few rungs at the slow climb back to respectability (if not dominance) – I just couldn’t stay a fan for much longer. I long for the days of the Jordan/Harper back-court and the Pippen/the worm frontline…through in Luc/Toni/Caffey and you had the greatest team going.
