In Appreciation of Eric Gordon

Surely, the only thing worth appreciating in Clipper-Land: “Phoenix Suns coach Alvin Gentry called him the best new talent in the league. Golden State’s Stephen Jackson said he’s a future franchise player. Eric Gordon has made quite the impression during his rookie season with the Clippers, even if the gifted guard isn’t really interested in the limelight. ‘I just try to prove something every game – that I can play,’ Gordon said Tuesday. The rest of the NBA is slowly getting the picture.”

Gordon can plain shoot it, get up, he can play the 1 and 2, i dont think Oj could do what Gordons doing in Clippers and vise versa with Gordon in Miami…. but Al Thornton, Gordon, Baron Davis, Chris Kaman, Marcus Camby?? To me thats a sick sick starting 5!

I think Marcel meant “SLAM rookie diarist Eric Gordon.”

i’m glad i’m following him because of fantasy bball.

Eric Gordon has a sweet J, and he’s got a burly frame for his size, which helps him on defense.

The more I read/see about EG the more I like. He’s very mature for his age and humble for a 20 year old lottery pick and is probably the most underrated athelete in the draft class. He’s a better shooter than Rose and a better athelete than OJ. The kid is a straight up monster and I’m glad he’s getting some love even though the Clips are SO bad this year.
The Clippers are where players go to die, I mean on paper their lineup is strong, but when it starts going bad, the only precedent is to let it snowball. This team should’ve fired Dunleavy early on and let the horses run!

@ lumberjack, ummm..oj playing in miami? other things u said r completely right thou

This rookie class is DEEP. I don’t think it’ll produce 4 uberstars like Bron, Melo, Wade, Bosh but still… theres like 10 dudes who have the potential to be all-stars.

  • MalevolentKing7242

I haven seen this guy go toe to toe with mayo yet.. If he does better than mayo than he can be an all star. Gotta admit this kid got skillz

  • Teddy-the-Bear

My Knicks should have drafted Eric Gordon or Jerryd Bayless.

  • Lumberjack

Knicks neeed some back up energy at the point!!
Nate is not going to drop 41 for a long time….

  • tom

and now he´s out with a bad shoulder … :/

  • giogolo

Why does anyone not comment about the relationship between the Clippers current line-up and their Coach just as much as AI,the pistons and Michael Curry???

  • giogolo

And some of the previous(actually more than 1/4) coaches fired?
Does it have something to do with their owner and the b-ball relations he had with the team’s previous GM?

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Lumberjack, Nate Robinson is the man right now. Don’t complain about him.
