Philly, Post-Brand

It’s not exactly the end of the world: “It could be that, in the long run, additional minutes for Speights, Young and – with Iguodala playing small forward almost exclusively – Williams will pay off when Brand does finally return. If Brand comes back fully healthy next season and with some of his old mobility back as well, that added maturity for the kids will allow them to complement the power forward’s play rather than merely contrast with it. Everything might still work out for the Sixers in the Elton Brand era, which, after all, still has four seasons left to go.”

Sixers are better without him. They should make that BETCATS deal for iverson.

Thats certainly looking at the glass as half full. However, the glass is in Philadelphia and is half-filled with cheese-whiz.

If he comes back fully healthy? That’s one 6’8′ if.

im with hisham, who cares if he has a huge contract and is injury prone, that would be a great deal, especially for detrioit.

Betcats Iverson deal sucks. If iverson is so good, why don’t you want to trade him to your precious Bobcats. Even Webber said that AI needs to play with a bunch of stiffs in order to be effective so a reunion with Brown in Charlotte would be perfect.
