Sefolosha Dealt to OKC for First-Round Pick

Sports Illustrated reports that the Bulls have dealt Thabo Sefolosha to Oklahoma City for a first-round pick. The deal also sheds Sefolosha’s $2.75 million salary for next season.

    Pretty nice pickup by OKC, they have so many 1st rounders coming up they needed to move some of them. They’re already starting Kyle Weaver who’s a very similar, but less experienced, version of Sefolosha; Good Defender, poor shooter, great athelete.

    so okc did not add any draft pick for that rescinded tyson chandler trade, but parted with one for thabo? how come?

    ^they have five first rounder in the next two drafts and their team is already really young.

    I guess that clears up the backcourt a little more? That said, it would have been better had they been able to move Hinrich—interesting that in two days of trading the Bulls backcourt actually got SMALLER. I’m surprised they didn’t trade for Nate Robinson and Earl Boykins.

    i like that move but now they need a head coach with experience. if they can lure avery johnson to chicago next season they can make some noise.

    i am officially scared to play OKC now. young team. no expectations. run and score. and durant shooting lights out. they’ve got a nice little core going now.
