The Official End to Jameer Nelson’s Season

Not exactly a shocker: “On the same day the Magic traded for point guard Rafer Alston, starter Jameer Nelson had surgery Thursday on the torn right labrum in his shoulder – officially ending his 2008-09 campaign. Nelson’s surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama was a success. He will now undergo 4-6 months of rehab.”
