    One thing I’ve always wondered about Mutombo is his kicks. He’s been wearing those since about 2000, and they must be pretty hard to find nowadays. I wonder if Nike carries on re-producing them just for him, or if he just doesn’t change them very often. Considering his humanitarian ways, I can imagine he has bigger things to worry about than changing his shoes every game or two.

    (sorry, I’m a bit of a sneaker-freak)
