Can Wade Play in all 82?

Dwyane is aiming for a career first: “For now, Wade’s goal remains to play in all 82 games for the first time in his six-year career. And whatever Wade wants, the Heat makes every effort to make sure Wade gets it…’I know it’s important for him, considering where he’s been the last two years, when he wasn’t healthy. He wants to play all 82,’ Spoelstra said. ‘He’s really gotten his body ready for the battle of 82 games. But you also have to be smart. If the injuries ever get to a point where they’re not getting better with days off in between, then you have to re-evaluate it.’”

If they lock up the 4th or 5th spot and can’t advance any further in the last few games….he will not play the last few games of the season….but I think they’ll come down to last couple and will need him in everyone.

burns out in playoffs……. nah, he’ll be fine. But just to be sure: delete this whole thing from slamonline.com. Not that such a thing as a “curse” exists, but delete it. Just to be sure. You never know. Delete it. Now.

he better ask vince how to not-get-injured…

Wade will be fine. I def agree with Eboy. We’ll be fighting to the end over 4th place with Atlanta, so he’ll be needed. And this is news because this man is MVP and slam says it is news.

Wade averaged 43.3 points on 53.8 percent shooting and also had 6.7 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 4.0 steals to lead Miami (36-30) during last week’s winning streak. Despite that, Wade failed to repeat as the league’s Eastern Conference player of the week, losing out to LeBron James………. how did wade not get player of the week?????????????????????

    And now he’s out tonight.

  • http://www.another48minutes.blogspot.com Gerard Himself

Tarzan – that’s just ridiculous. It’s a safe bet that nobody in the L had better stats during a week in THE WHOLE SEASON. I didn’t look that up, but it can’t be. Weird!

I just went on RGM.com and the Wiretap has both “Wade wants a full season” and “D-Wade sits out as Heat lose” within about 4 articles. Haha.. Surely Eric knew when he gave the first interview?

Oh well, the Heat did well without him…. great game! Just dont know why Chalmers didnt drop in a 3 when it was 106-109… he hit the previous two 3 pointers and that drive wasnt well executed…..
