Chris Duhon’s Body, Game Falling Apart

Might want to slow things down a bit, D’Antoni: “Duhon is trying to gut it out, but he had six turnovers [last night] to give him 36 in his past eight games, an average of 4.5 per game. He’s also hit only 39.3 percent of his shots (24-for-61) from the floor in his last seven games, perhaps a sign that the guy whom Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski once said never gets tired has gotten tired. ‘He could be tired or we wore him out,’ Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni said. ‘He’s played through a lot of injuries and he didn’t have a lot of help when we played with seven guys for a long time. So, yeah, it very easily could be that he’s just not real sharp physically. And to be honest with you, he has to be sharp physically to be real good because he doesn’t have an abundance of athleticism. So we probably wore him out a little bit, but we’ve got to overcome that.'”
