Jarrett Jack vs TJ Ford

The two Pacers got into it on Friday night during a game, but according to Jack, it’s now water under the bridge: “Jack said his public argument with Ford on Friday was a “heat of the moment” incident and both players have put it behind them. Jack and Ford got into an argument on the court midway through the third quarter against the Dallas Mavericks. The heated conversation carried over to the sideline and Jack, who had to be calmed down by several of his teammates, eventually was sent to the locker room by O’Brien for the rest of the game. ‘Things happen,’ Jack said. ‘I don’t think it’s to the point where it’s uncomfortable or anything. We talked (after the game Friday) about general stuff. The reason I got sent to the locker room had nothing to do with me and T.J. It was two separate things.’”

Jack is at best a reserve guard and TJ Ford spends more time at a hospital than a court. Were they fighting over who is more disappointing?

I think Jack won. TJ Ford came off the bench the next game.

Why does TJ Ford always end up on teams with starting-caliber point guards, when he too is a starting-caliber point guard? Mo Williams, Jose, Calderon, and now Jarret Jack.

Jack is a tough player, and much easier to root for thean the oft injured, constantly moaning TJ Ford. And this is coming from a Longhorn. Jack isn’t a top tier PG in the league, but I take his side in this “beef”, he’s been lighting it up recently as well.

And the argument was decided. They agreed the Pacers were way more disapointing than either of them.
