Shaun Livingston Earns Another Chance

Trying to avert one of sports’ all-time worst injuries isn’t easy, but Livingston is making progress. He’ll be in uniform for the Thunder’s remaining nine games: “The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Tuesday that it has signed point guard Shaun Livingston, the former No. 4 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, to a multiyear contract.”

Ouch, Russ. The Thunder are awesome. And, uh, Garrett what’s a “permanent contract”? They piece already says he signed a multi-year deal.

On a completely unrelated note…Ron Artest was at the Britney Spears concert in Houston last night. I think Ron Ron & Brit Brit can identify with the media “Circus” HAR HAR.

Awesome. Just saw him play with Tulsa 66ers last Friday. He looked very good. Hit a fadeaway basline jumper at the buzzer to win the game in OT.

asking if he still has braids…??? I’d be wondering if he still has knee cartilage.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Mar.31 at 11:24 pm
    Best of luck to Shaun.
On a side note, SLAM: What ever happened to Alvin Williams? He’s the best point guard the Raptors have ever had, maybe besides vintage Mighty Mouse!! Well?

I love It Shaun is my favorite player in the league I’m glad to see him back on a team and he’s producing pretty well for them. 8 points 4 rebounds 2 assists a night in 24 minutes as the backup point. only 1.3 turnovers too. he’s doing his thing

  • [...] “Peoria’s Finest” and a SLAM favorite, Shaun will play for the Thunder this coming season if all goes well for him this summer. This will be the first chance to watch him play extended minutes in a while. [...]
