Suns Bring In the Stro Show

Stromile Swift is now gainfully employed by the Suns: “The Phoenix Suns, hoping to fill the void at power forward created by Amare Stoudemire’s injury, signed free-agent forward Stromile Swift on Wednesday for the remainder of the season.”

    ^^^^^^see, that right there by karan is why everyone has been wrong about steve nash, its not him making all the other suns better, its the style and pace that they play at. steve is a tremendous shooter, but he doesnt make anyone better. its an illusion created by the fact that as soon as steve passes someone the ball, they jack it up

    tarzan wishes he was me….(because i wish i was nash). Nash is beastin’ this year. and with stro on board i CANT WAIT to see the last 20 games or so with the run and gun suns make the 8th seed and knock out the LAL.

    u guys know terry porter aint the coach anymore right. Its 7 seconds or shaq now. He does make people better. Raja bell, boris diaw, louis amundsen. Nobody even heard of them before they played for the suns. He has resurrected some careers too. Look at tim thomas a few years ago. This is a great pickup if hes still healthy

    Yeah, Nash is a bum. It is pretty obvious D’Antoni made him in a lab and then left and took his whole chemistry set with him.

    Yeah, you know, the Nash hate has gone too far. For all of you who say “oh, Chris Paul would have gotten the same results in D’Antoni’s system”, that’s called conjecture. The fact is it WAS Nash in that system, and it’s still Nash who is there, averaging in the region of 10 assists a game, even in Porter’s system. I’m not saying that the player made the system, but it’s a real stretch to suggest that the system made the player, when Nash was still putting up All-Star type numbers for the first half of this season. Maybe he’s just a really good player, and you’re all still bitter that he deprived your beloved Kobe of at least one MVP award (deservedly so, in my opinion).

    So what about the all star seasons he had in dallas to??? Should we give credit to d antoni for those to??? And look what nash did for dirj, finley, lafrentz, and just about every other player that was in dallas with him (excluding bradley)

    What about Bell? He locked down Kobe in Gm1 of the 2001 Finals alongside AI…7/21 or 23 shooting or something. Thats where it all stemmed from, their ‘rivalry’.
