Webster’s Season Officially Over

More bad news for Martell and the Blazers: “Martell Webster, who has played just five minutes this season, will miss all of the regular season because of his left foot injury. But there is good news. In a text message, the team announced that x-rays showed improvement in the stress fracture in Webster’s ailing foot and the small forward has been ‘cleared to begin low impact activities,’ such as riding the exercise bike and working in the pool. Webster also no longer has to wear a protective boot.”

    Did it ever start?
I still have no idea why the Blazers wanted to extend him over a bunch of their other young players.

Text Messages = New Hotness. Press Conferences = Old & Busted. T-Mac should’ve announced his shutdown via Twitter.

doesnt really matter. if he was healthy he would probably just take minutes away from guys like rudy and batum

Webster, Outlaw, Boom Boom Batum, Roy, Rudy all needing minutes at the 2/3. His injury was a blessing bringing out Batum instead of burying him on the bench like JayBayBay
