    0.7 = 100% Bobcats FTW!

  • AlbertBarr

    25%=ultimately disappointed Kings fans.

  • http://www.another48minutes.blogspot.com Gerard Himself

There’s no team like my Nets who need Griffin more, so let’s go! 0,9%!

  • vmcb

I really dislike Sacramento. So I hope they don’t get the number one pick.

  • ave. joe

I agree. The kings don’t deserve anybody. They should move to Oklahoma City and join forces with the Thunder. Maybe then I might respect them.

  • http://ittakesanationofmillionstoholdthissac.blogspot.com ciolkstar

I bet OKC gets Blake Griffin. I think Clay Bennet has surveilance video of Stern with some male “escorts” or something.

  • Colin

    @vmcb & @ ave. joe. :

We here in Sacramento really dislike you. Your teams deserve nothing either.

    BOBCATS!!!
    .o7!!

    Thabeet goes on.

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ryne Nelson

It’s amazing how the Thunder lost one more game than the Grizzlies and Wolves and they’re a full four percentage points higher.

  • http://nicekicks.com MeloMan13

    lets go 1.7!!!!

  • Blinguo

Word Ryne, but its a wrap if Blake Griffin gets a China Passport and his “people” to Milwauk-Yi his way into the destination best suited for him, OKC. Or it turns into the LeBron sweepstakes and it all falls into place for the hometown comeback hero kid story. How bad were the Cavs chances @ #1 2003 draft?

  • Jose

“look at the spurs, they got tim duncan….” they might get griffin. not sayin hes tim duncan at all.or even close.but maybe arenas knew wat he was sayin. … hope the thunder get griffin tho

I hope the Clippers get it. I honestly do feel sorry for them. Although I’d bet that Dunleavy f#@ks it up somehow if he got it.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

PLEASE KNICKS OR RAPTORS, DRAFT BRANDON JENNINGS!

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Blake Griffin looks like Chris Humphreys on the Toronto Raptors.

MeloMan: 1.7 percent odds worked out good for the Bulls last year, so you never know.

  • donovan

    Lottery = BS

This year’s lottery will be held toward the end of the second round on May 19….wtf does this mean??!!!!!?!?!?!

  • mr. carter

are u serious tarzan?..anyway,I hope that washington gets james harden and nets take terrence williams. Nothing else matters.

  • http://yanksgoyard.com Dennis

I think the Knicks definitely should go point guard with their pick, and the guy I like is Eric Maynor from VCU… he can play the up and down tempo, he can dish the rock really well, get to the basket, hit from mid-range and behind the line consistently, makes smart decisions, plays under control all the time, plays hard D, and is a clutch shooter.

HOWEVER, at number eight (at least), people will probably say Maynor is too early for that slot because the Knicks will possibly have a shot at Brandon Jennings and Ty Lawson… guys with more fame in their names. But, they are smaller guards and Maynor is 6’3″, which is an advantage. Granted, Maynor may not be as fast, but I don’t see any real shortcomings in the guy.

Overall, I think Maynor is a better player than both Jennings (more potential) and Lawson (more speed). Naturally, where these players end up in their NBA careers will depend on who they play for. But, Maynor is such a solid fit in D’Antoni’s system, I’d hate to see him get passed by because it doesn’t make sense for the Knicks image-wise.

  • Gumdrop

The draft won’t be held in May, just the lottery.

  • Matthew

    come on 1.7% for raptors

  • Quail

I hope the top 5 are OKC, MIN, SAC, MEM, and NY.

    Thunder- Blake Griffin
    Wolves- Brandon Jennings
    Kings- Hasheem Thabeet
    Grizzlies- Jordan Hill
Knicks- anybody who can play center.

thats how I would like to see it.

  • Quail

I think the draft will be weak after the first 20 picks or so. hardly any good big men outside of Griffin, Thabeet, and Jordan Hill.

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

Try weak after the first 10-15 picks Quail.

  • Quail

@Hursty: ahh, ur prolly right, but u never know. someone from Europe could pop up out of nowhere and surprise us in the top 20. and to change the subject, i dont want Jodie Meeks or Patrick Patterson to leave us in Kentucky. with Cousins and possibly John Wall coming, we could do some damage.

  • serevei

i hope oklahoma get brandon rubio or griffin

  • Marco

I live in rome and can see BJ every week.He will be a bust, believe me

  • Quail

    @ Marco: that saddens me

  • http://dillanleuyahoo.com Holy Baller

But it doesn’t surprise me. I mean averages just don’t lie, and 7 and 2 are NOT impressive at all.

  • chintao

@ Dennis ==> Do you think Maynor will be better than Jonny Flynn? I have never seen Maynor play, so I honestly am asking your opinion.

  • http://basketball-reference.com nbk

If the lottery is as rigged as I think it is there is only 4 teams with a chance at the first pick — Washington – OKC – GS – NY
Every year it seems the teams the league would benefit the most from having the top picks will get it. Orlando (big market) is 2 for 2 on 1st picks, Portland got theirs right after they got a ROY. Seattle got the 2nd pick in the same draft which helped bring attention to their team which would have been positive whether they stayed or left. The bulls got the 1st pick when their hometown kid was coincidentally one of the top prospects. Only when the likely 1st pick is not a surefire all star do teams in small markets get the 1st pick. Toronto had the 1st pick when Bargnani was the top prospect. Milwuakee got it when Andrew Bogut was the top dog. All of this began in 2001 when the economy started going down hill. I bet it happens again since the 1st 2 picks are star caliber the 1st 2 picks will go to medium to large market teams with room for growth. BET

  • Darryl

@ nbk: Just because Milwaukee wasted the number 1 pick on Bogut doesn’t mean the draft was rigged. They could have taken Chris Paul or Deron Williams but they decided Mo Williams was their future. How did that work out? I can’t remember, but was Bargnani the top pick after the league changed the draft age limit? That wasn’t a good year to get the top pick.
