Andrew Bynum Returns This Week

That’s the plan, anyway: “After today’s practice went well, Andrew Bynum said he plans to play Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies and April 14 against the Utah Jazz. Those are the Lakers’ final regular-season games. Bynum has said all along that he hoped to play in a couple of regular-season games before rejoining the active roster for the playoffs…’I just have to get my timing back,’ said Bynum, who did not travel with the team for Tuesday night’s game against the Kings in Sacramento. ‘Other than that, I’m ready to go.’”

It will be good to see how much the Lakers will use him, might find a role of the bench…..

He’s gonna start from the jump. Lakers need him.

Bynum, who did not travel? Wish I could say the same for Boozer, that guy could do with learning the two-step rule…….

Might take longer than a few regular season game and the playoffs to get your timing back son

    DAMNIT

@ TADOne: Premature. Let’s make sure Bynum looks like Good Bynum and not Surprisingly Lazy Bynum first. I’m hoping for the latter.

I bet Odom starts playing really well again now that he knows his minutes could be in jeopardy once the playoffs roll around. Which will put Phil in an interesting situation. And for all those who think Bynum = Ring, you must not have watched him for the first month-45 days of the season. He didn’t defend the paint or challenge shots nearly as well as he did before last season’s injury. He blew up for about a 10-15 game stretch, but that came after struggling a lot early on.

I see your Bynum and raise you a Ben Wallace. Y’all ain’t ready.

  • thesubwayconnection Posted: Apr.7 at 2:23 pm

  • tenorca Posted: Apr.7 at 5:47 pm
TADOne: my sarcasm meter is broke down. I hang my head in shame.

Anton, what’s Ben Wallace gonna do against Bynum? Block Bynum’s shots with his crutches?
