Checking in on Tex Winter

After suffering a stroke on Saturday, things are starting to look up for Tex: “Tex Winter continues to progress and could be removed from the intensive care unit Monday, Phil Jackson said…Jackson said neither Winter’s speech nor the motor skills on the right side of his body are anywhere close to 100 percent, but the 87-year-old architect of the triangle offense is doing well enough to be moved to a care unit specializing in stroke victims.”
