Coach Kenny Anderson?

Mr Chibbs says it’s his dream: “Much like former Knicks coach Isiah Thomas, who was just named the new head coach at Florida International, Anderson hopes that college administrators or even NBA execs can see beyond his troubling past to see the man he is today. ‘Before, when I was in the league, it was, ‘Oh he likes to hang out and party, he’s a womanizer,’ says Anderson, the LeFrak City-raised, former Archbishop Molloy star guard and 15-year pro. ‘People have to get off that stuff. I’m 38 years old. I’m out here doing what I got to do to make my dream come true. I want to coach.’”

“Oh he likes to hang out and party, he’s a womanizer” thats the great foundation to becoming a college coach.

Derrick Coleman and Kenny Anderson are choir boys nowadays. They’ve come a long way since their days in New Jersey.

Wherever he goes, they’re gonna have to extend the parking lot.

You know…..there was a second in my lifetime when Kenny and Rod Strickland were considered perhaps the two best point guards in the lig if not both top 5. That moment didn’t last long enough.

Does any professional athlete NOT like to hang out and party and womanize? What is wrong with doing all those things when you are 20 years old anyway?

I remember feeling betrayed by the Celtics organization during the summer of ’02 when we traded him for Vin Baker.
