Flip Saunders is Officially a Wizard

Welcome to D.C., Flip: “Flip Saunders has officially agreed to become the 22nd head coach of the Washington Wizards, according to an NBA front office executive. After several days of speculation and suspense, Saunders finally signed his contract with the Wizards Tuesday night for a reported four years and $18 million. The Wizards will make an official announcement on Wednesday and are expected to introduce Saunders at a press conference on Thursday.”

This should be fun. We already play no defense, but it will be interesting to see how Flip’s offensive sets affect our offensive players like Gil and Jamison.

When reached for comment, Harry Potter expressed ambivalence. “I mean, he’ll definitely improve our quidditch team’s offensive sets, but I don’t know if he has steady hand to guide those hotheaded Weasley characters. I saw what happened with Rasheed in Detroit. Bottom line, was Flip really the best fit for our team? I don’t know. Sure he’s a Wizard, but then Jeff Van Gundy is definitely a house elf.”
