Mike Dunleavy Won’t Be Back for a Long While

Try sometime in 2010, according to his coach: “The last thing Indiana Pacers coach Jim O’Brien claims to be is a doctor. One thing O’Brien believes, though, is swingman Mike Dunleavy will be out until at least January as he rehabilitates his injured right knee. ‘Nothing that I’ve heard has Michael coming back anytime before January,’ O’Brien said. ‘It’s not even on my radar, Michael Dunleavy coming back. I have to approach next year like he’s not coming back because you have to build a team.’”

Am I the only one who danced a little happy dance on behalf of Clipper fans BEFORE reading this article?

  • From out of Nowhere

I wonder how many Clipper fans wished that the news was about MDsr. With every Clipper loss, how the guy once won Coach of the Year with the Blazers seems like more of a mystery.

I had MDjr on my fantasy team for the entire stretch of the season in which he was healthy, and I don’t regret it. Here’s hoping that he’s not really out that long.

  • nate the great

Wow, approaching the season like Mike Dun’s not coming back? Who here thinks that will require a big adjustment?
