Not the Usual March in San Antonio

The team’s annual dominance of the month is a thing of the past: “For the Spurs, the month of March is usually just that. A march toward the postseason — regimented, orderly and predictable. This year, however, the Spurs’ March became a headlong stumble into April, a calendar-page of frustration that has put a serious crimp in their annual postseason preparations. ‘We usually have a crisis in January or February or December,’ guard Manu Ginobili said. ‘This year, it’s a different mind-set. We’re trying to fix problems, rather than just work on details.’”

Don’t worry though, according to Ciolkstar and Eboy, this is all a deception, and they’re going to come out on FIRE in the playoffs

No, I just said they’ll slow the pace and grind out Ws in the playoffs. Like they’ve always done. Clearly, they’re older this season and have had more than the usual amount of injuries, but I think Manu is referring more to HIS situation here. HE hasn’t been in the rotation for a while, and is trying to build more chemistry with the new guys, while Pop figures out exactly what his role should be. Roger Mason is one of the main reasons this doesn’t worry me as much as it could. Jukai’s just bitter because the Suns are irrelevant now.

I never said they’d come out on fire, moron. I just said that Pops rotations and choices for times for benchings seemed way too odd to NOT be planned to some degree.

Fair readers of the comment section, don’t listen to these internet punks! They told me straight up the team had no injuries and Pops was just playing it out to lull the Western Conference into a sense of security! You heard that from Ciolk and Eboy!

I seriously can’t even tell if you’re being sarcastic. Take that however you want to.

The Spurs weren’t doing that bad in March considering that Ginobili was out for all but three games and Tim Duncan was out for 2

Don’t worry, according to Jukai, everyone’s wrong but him. Of course, he also thought Dennis Rodman sucked, which shows how much he knows…

    Go Rockets. Meh.

no matter what record they had in march, the spurs are always a threat in the west. the top 3 in the west are 1-lakers 2-spurs 3-jazz. everyone else serves no threat whatsoever
